New Product Takes Affiliate Marketing A Step Further
Well after getting a couple of promos going successfully, i realised that I had been missing out by not taking affiliate marketing seriously enough.
I had always treated affiliate income as a by product of the traffic to my sites. A useful little extra income. A few dollars here a few dollars there. It all added up and added an extra 15% to my income.

The first thing you must identify is WHY?
Simply "I want more money/security/luxury" doesn't cut it. Psychologically you need t o look at your motivation for it to mean anything at all.

So what does it take to be a cut above the rest? Here are some things you can focus on that will get you off to a good start!
Step 1: Know your end result.
Are you wandering through life with little direction - hoping that you'll find happiness, health and prosperity?
Identify what really matters. For me what changed was having a son with learning difficulties. When I got divorced I hardly saw my Kids because I worked in a very high pressure environment where I was lucky to get one day off a week. If i was going to play a meaningful role in the boys lives, then I had to find a way of earning a living around their schedule instead of mine.
All of a sudden I discovered that truly money only matters for the freedom it can buy you. Think more about your perfect lifestyle rather than material possessions.
This may seem tricky at first when you are broke or at a dead end. There's always that little loophole to turn things around and you can make a big difference to your life simply by reassessing your wants.
Step 2: Know your values.
What do you value most? Make a list of your top 5 values. Some examples are integrity, security, freedom, family, spiritual development, learning etc. As you set your goals for 2009 - check your goals against your values.
If the goal doesn't align with any of your top five values - you may want to reconsider it or revise it. Personally I would rather retain my personal integrity rather than use some of the methods used by some "gurus" to make fortunes. If I sell something as a solution, that's what it will be. Not just a part of the solution.
Step 3: Know your needs.
Do you have a need to be acknowledged, to be right, to be in control, to be loved? Do you want to be rich or would you rather be recognised?
Companies know that many people put more value on a job title than the salary that goes with it! Dustbin men have become "Household Waste Executives". Street cleaners are now "Environmental Protection Operatives". Many companies have achieved astonishing improvements in efficiency just by changing the job title!
What drives you? So many people who live their lives without realizing their dreams end up stressed or depressed. List your top needs and plan how to meet them before it's too late! If you really want to be a presenter at an internet seminar, you can be. You are in control of your world, but you need to design it!
Step 4: Know your passions.
You know who you are and what you truly enjoy in life.

3. You need to be able to design a simple website and understand how to upload your products and any web pages (or any changes to existing pages, etc.) to the Internet on your own! There are plenty free html tutorials online.
4. An autoresponder account.
My recommendation would be AWeber. They have one of the best delivery rates in the business, a simple user interface, and the ability to expand as you need it. Get set up for under $20 a month.
5. You need a way of accepting Credit Cards Online
The simplest way is using PayPal or Google checkout if need be, but there are other options that include ways that are both FREE and much more advanced allowing you to customize your cart as needed.
Once you have those basics in place you can be on your way very simply.
