All about Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time
Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time is the newest edition of Ratchet & Clank. A Crack in Time brings some interesting new gameplay mechanics to the series. Clank now carries a staff which can slow time. He can also record up to a minute of his actions and replay them as holograms to assist with completing tasks and solving certain puzzles, wild isn't it?
For the first time in the series, Ratchet can now fly his ship freely between planets in various zones and visit small moons to complete optional challenges to earn special items. The weapons on Ratchet's ship can be upgraded as well as his standard weapons.
Not only are there a bunch of great additions, but the graphics are simply breathtaking. See the clip & screenshots below to see for yourself.
What is Ratchet & Clank about?
Brief Overview
Ratchet and Clank is a well known 3D platforming shooter which was first released on the Playstation 2. The main protagonists of the series are Ratchet and Clank. Ratchet is a cat like creature known as a Lombax, and also happens to be extremely handy with tools. Clank is a small sentient robot that becomes friends with ratchet and together they battle evil forces in their attempt to save the galaxy.Although Clank sits on Ratchet's back, this handy little robot does a lot more than just tag along. He assists with providing useful jumping, hovering, and diving abilities through various upgrades attained throughout the game.
The franchise has had successful incarnations on the Playstation 2, Playstation Portable and now with its newest edition, Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time which is the 2nd entry for the duo on the Playstation 3.
