The Razor e100 scooter rocks! I started my online search for the razor e100 scooter because my son put it on his "Want List" =). All I've heard for the past 2 weeks is "Mom, pleeeeeease, if you get me the razor e100 scooter I promise I won't ask for anything else!" Not sure I can believe him, but he's a child.

Don't Go Wild On This One Yet
The razor e100 scooter is meant for the young or newbie rider.
It can only handle light weight and it's top speed is 10mph.
You can still get some minor scrapes et al, so I recommend some accessories.
I wish they had these when I was growing up instead of just rollerskates =).

Razor e100 Scooter Specs
Alright then, it looks as though the razor e100 scooter - well - needs a battery. Wonder if this "baby" will go as fast as my car! Not!
After watching a couple videos on children that ride these, I would recommend you find a helmet and some elbow and knee accessories if they want to do tricks - otherwise a helmet alone should do the trick.
They don't have to be expensive, but considering what tricks riders can do when they're learning and playing, it's not a bad idea.
The razor e100 scooter clocks in at 10 mph / max. weight 120 lbs / 8-12 years old.
So not recommended for Mama or Papa to get on it for a few spins.
There are actually pro scooter athletes ages 9 to 20, who tour the world participating in demonstrations and competitions. They take this very seriously and are quite adventurous.
The toy has won numerous awards from the Toy Industry Association and honors from TIME Magazine, Parents, Parenting, Sports Illustrated for Kids, Nick Jr. and U.S. News & World Report.
So it's very popular and well received. They certainly make getting around faster and because it's so portable - they fold in half - it can fit into a locker if need be.

They are also reasonably priced because you know the razor e100 scooter is built to last. At the end of the child's use, it can always be sold at a garage sale.

The Razor E100 electric scooter has had a few updates. But to refresh, it's powered by a chain drive motor for a fast and fun ride. A rear brake makes it easy to stop and the motor recharges in 4 hours.
Updated features include a chain drive with fixed axle, double welded frames, and a twist throttle. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Getting It Right On Electric Scooter Jumps
It Only Takes A Good Sized Rock
Here's a fellow who makes a few good jumps using a fairly large sized rock as his ramp.
He bubbs one, but overall an entertaining watch on what can be done.
