ReCandle hand-crafts luxury scented candles from more than 50% post-consumer RECYCLED wax. Our candles are hand-poured into unique re-purposed glass, art glass and crystal containers enjoying a second stylish life. These candles burn well and smell great. And, since we believe it shouldn't cost more to go green, we think they're priced very reasonably. Isn't that cool?

About Recandle

Recandle (fka Rekindled Candles) was formed in January 2008 as an answer to three passions, recycling, candles and fragrance.

Every ReCandle votive and container candle is:

1. Made from more than 50% RECYCLED post-consumer wax

2. Blended with SOY and PALM waxes for burn consistency and quality

3. TRIPLE SCENTED with 3X the fragrance of typical mass-produced scented candles

4. Made with lead-free ZINC CORE wicks that stay upright when burning

5. HANDPOURED into RE-PURPOSED glass, crystal and art glass containers enjoying a second stylish life

6. HANDCRAFTED in Dallas, Texas USA

ReCandle celebrates recycling in all its forms, using recycled materials in the handcrafting process in the studio, keeping packaging to a minimum and using recycled materials for shipping.

Staying true to hand-crafted artistry, ReCandles are blended by hand and poured in very small batches, to ensure the high quality of every candle that leaves the studio. At least one candle from each pour is tested to ensure fragrance strength and burn quality. Unlike most candles that are mass-produced in factories by machines, each ReCandle container candle is unique.

About ReCandle Packaging

It's minimal. If you find ReCandle in a store, it's in a recyclable clear plastic bag, so you can see the beautiful colors of the candles and unique shapes of the containers. If you find ReCandle on the internet, it's shipped to you in a brown paper bag. Our packing materials, whenever possible, are obtained second-hand from a local moving company that has kindly agreed to pass along their experienced boxes, bubble wrap and peanuts.

About ReCandle's Founder, Cynthia Homsher

Cynthia Homsher is a native Texan, married to the love of her life, mother of four active children, caretaker of three large dogs and servant to two demanding cats. In addition to her family, she loves candles, the environment, and things that smell good.

    I love these candles! I burn Spiced Pumpkin Pie year round - who says Pumpkin is just for Fall!
    Cynthia's candles always burn clean and her fragrances are absolutely wonderful!
    I love the fact that her containers for the candles are always different! Perfect for gifts since
    each candle is unique and earth friendly!
