What have you just read?
I just finished a collection of stories by Laurie Lynn Drummond titled, Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You. The story collection focuses around five female police officers in Louisiana.

What are you reading now?
I just started Lauren Baratz-Logsted book The Thin Pink Line. I consider it mature chic lit as opposed to fluffy chic lit.

Do you have any idea what you'll read when you're done with that?
I have to read a book for Once Written, When Crickets Cry by Charles Martin.

What's the worst thing you were ever forced to read?
The only thing that comes to mind at the moment is Second Sunrise: A Lee Nez Novel.

What's one book you always recommend to just about anyone?
Stephen King's The Stand. I know, I know...

Admit it, sadly the librarians at your library know you on a first name basis, don't they?
Actually, no they don't. The library closed that was near my place. I don't like the location of the new library. Lots of traffic and bad parking.

Is there a book you absolutely love, but for some reason, people never think it sounds interesting, or maybe they read it and don't like it at all?
I'm addicted to Janet Evanovich's Plum Series but people just don't seem to get it. You either love her or you hate her. I can't love her enough.

Do you read books while you eat?
Sometimes.

While you bathe?
No.

While you watch movies or tv?
I like to read during commercials. Never during a movie. That's sacrilegious.

While you listen to music?
I have a specific classical cd that I listen to while reading for long periods of time.

While you're on the computer?
I've been known to read the occasional e-book.

When you were little did other children tease you about your reading habits?
Yes, I was a terribly slow reader. It wasn't until I was 13 and I discovered Robert Zelazny's Amber series that I started to enjoy reading.

What's the last thing you stayed up half the night reading because it was so good you couldn't put it down?
Janet Evanovich Plum Series - #11.

Have any books made you cry?
Lots! Most recently that I can think of: Pomegranate Soup and The Mercy of Thin Air.
