Key Strategies

Overall, this is a very easy mission - even on the hard setting - so sit back, relax and enjoy.

That being said, be sure to keep your Javelins and at least five Multigunner IFVs in reserve near your base until the final air strike arrives. Unless upgraded with Peacekeepers, the Multigunner IFVs are highly susceptible to the Soviet Conscripts, who can shred them to pieces.

Your base -- and the mission -- will be lost if you don't have your Multigunner IFVs ready when the final massive airstrike comes from the Kirov Airships. Upgrade them with Javelin troopers to make them even more effective.

If the Kirov Airships start to get the better of your forces, you can distract the Airships from attacking your base by running away from them with your IFVs. Garrisoning the civilian structures surrounding your base will also slow down the Soviet air offensive.

Mission Objectives and Walkthrough

Objectives:

* Eliminate the Soviets in Brighton.
* Hold out against the incoming Soviets.
* Repel the Soviet Navy.
* Eliminate the remaining Soviets.

Bonus Objectives:

* Garrison four civilian structures.
* Capture the Hospital.
* Repair the Coastal Guns.
* Train five Javelin Soldiers.
* Build five Multigunner IFVs.

Walkthrough:

You will start the mission by clearing the area of Soviet Conscripts with your veteran Peacekeepers and Attack Dogs. This is easily accomplished and you will then be granted access to a base, including a Barracks to recruit further units.

Add a few more Peacekeepers and Attack Dogs to your forces, then recruit five engineers for future use.

Use one to capture the Hospital and four others to capture the big guns on the beach, once that bonus objective is announced.

To achieve the bonus objective of garrisoning four structures, you must actually garrison the structures highlighted by the "1" character. Garrison four other structures and you will get a big red X on this objective.

You will be given the bonus objective of recruiting five Javelins, anti-air personnel. Keep them near the base so they are not lost to the Soviet Conscripts.

You will receive numerous waves of paratroopers attacking the area, which can be easily handled, along with the help of your co-commander.

You will eventually be given access to the War Factory, where you will be given the bonus objective of building five Multigunner IFVs.

Build up to ten of them to make the job even easier. The Kirov Airships won't stand a chance.

These IFVs can be upgraded by having either a Peacekeeper or Javelin enter the vehicle.

Dreadnoughts will also attack the area, but these will be handled automatically by the big guns on the coast.

Destroy the incoming Kirov Airships with these IFVs, making sure their burning hulls don't land on top of them.

Mission accomplished!
