Managing your content on RedGage
- Upload Content Tutorial
- Shows you how to upload content in the form of blogs, links, videos, photos or documents. For example, you can upload a (thumbnailed) link to one of your Squidoo lenses or a module within a Squidoo lens (check the module link address when in edit mode).
- Advanced Blog Tutorial
- Detailed instructions on how to create a blog post on RedGage. Shows you how to use the HTML editor for creating your text (highlighting, hyper-linking, formatting) and how to upload and re-size photos to illustrate your blog post. This is a superb but under-utilzed facility on RedGage. I have used it recently to upload individual poems with illustrative photos.
- "Share This" Tutorial
- Discusses how to use the 'share this' button to copy the link to the page, email the link to friends or family or to post it to another one of your favorite sites - e.g. social networking sites such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Digg, FriendFeed or Del.icio.us.

- How to edit and remove your content on RedGage.
- Collections Tutorial
- Explains how to categorize your RedGage content. Categorizing content will not only help you archive your material but it will allow other people to view your content with ease. By sorting your work into relevant themes, dates and events, users with similar interests will be more likely to find what they are looking for while they browse.
- Flagging Content for Administration Action
- When a piece of content is flagged, the RedGage Team is notified and will send a warning to the user who posted the material. Content can be flagged by a RedGage member because it is spam, plagiarized, hateful, violent or dangerous.
- Comment Spamming
- Comment spam is banned and on RedGage and is defined as:
1) Any comment that is unrelated to the piece of content or is not genuine.
2) A single word. All comments must be more than one word.
3) Repeating the same comment on similar comments.

- Understanding your RedGage account
- The account tab (on the upper right hand side of the main page) will explain the breakdown of your RedGage earnings. You can edit your settings from here and learn which pieces of content are making you the most money. The overview section of your account will display your content rankings and give you a basis for determining which content is the most profitable.
- Featured Content bonus
- Not only does having your content featured on the homepage bring you exposure, now it will also make you extra money! RedGage is giving away Featured Bonuses to content that makes it to the main page. This will be an extra bonus that is added to the money you have earned through page views! You can track your Feature Bonuses under your account section.
- How to get and use your RedGage Visa Card
- Your RedGage Visa Card is a physical debit card that is attached to your RedGage account. When your RedGage funds are available and you have made a minimum of $25.00, RedGage will ask you for your contact information and ship you a RedGage Visa Card.

- Invite Tool Tutorial
- If you are interested in bringing people to the site, or you want to share a link to your profile, the invite tool will do all of the work for you.
- Broadcast Tool Tutorial
- By using the broadcast feature, you can show your friends in other networks (Facebook, Twitter, Friendfeed) what you are doing on RedGage. If you use these social networks, the added service will post announcements in your news feed or status.
- Import Tool Tutorial
- This is the facility to automatically import content from your blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc. This facility was not operational at the time of writing this lens. When it is fully functioning, it will automatically update your content from the source you specify.
