Frustrated by SMTP Server problems for sending email?

Are you laptop or PDA user who needs to roam around and still need the ability to send email?
Is that mail not a generic mail like Gmail, Yahoo etc? i.e. do you have a mail domain like your company domain or something of your own site?
Are you frustrated by the problem that you lose ability to send mail when you change location?

If answers to the above questions is a BIG YES, then read on... You are on right page.

How the email is sent?

And how can it be a reliable service?

How Email Is SentSMTP is the protocol used to send email over the Internet. When you send an email it gets sent to your SMTP server, which then forwards it to the recipient of your email. Obviously in order to send email you need an SMTP server that works! SMTP2Go is an SMTP server that works all the time, wherever you are in the world.

Why would I need SMTP2Go?
You might have experienced difficulties sending emails from your laptop or PDA from more than one location (e.g. at home, at work, staying in a hotel, visiting another city or country). This is because the SMTP server assigned to you by your ISP only actually works when you're connected to the Internet through that ISP. As soon as you connect to the Internet through a different network you lose your ability to send emails! This is a security measure used by ISPs to prevent people sending spam through their servers, but it's also an annoying problem for laptop and PDA users who want to be able to use their email on the go.

You could find your regular SMTP server... BUT not all the time, from all the places. Often these can be extremely difficult to find, or simply not available at all. Using SMTP2Go means changing your settings once, and then never having to change them again. SMTP2Go works anywhere, regardless of location or service provider.
Makes sense so far?

SMTP2Go: SMTP Server for McDonalds Free Wifi

Good News... Access free @ McDonalds

McDonalds Is Now Equipped with Free WifiMcDonalds has recently announced (as of mid-January 2010) that its Wifi service, something that you previously had to pay for, is now completely free! This is great news for everyone with a laptop or iPhone who needs to access their email while on the road.

McDonalds has also introduced strict rules for sending emails, so you'll need an SMTP server that uses SSL and port 465 in order to send emails from email software such as Outlook or Thunderbird. SMTP2Go provides an SMTP server that can be used in McDonalds free wifi hotspots, as it can be used with SSL and port 465.

In order to use SMTP2Go, you'll firstly need to signup for an account, which start at less than $2 per month.
Then, setting up your email software is a matter of making sure you have the following settings:

SMTP server: smtp2go.com
SMTP port: 465
SSL: Turned ON

SMTP2Go: An SMTP Server for Xerox WorkCentres

Xerox Copier Used with SMTP2Go is a great combination

Xerox Copier Used with SMTP2Go is a great combinationXerox WorkCentres have a feature called 'Scan to E-mail' which can be used to send emails. The feature works great as long as you have an SMTP server that can either authenticate using what is known as 'POP before SMTP authentication', or can authenticate based on the 'From' email address that is used.

SMTP2Go provides an SMTP server that authenticates based on the 'From' email address used, and can therefore be used with Xerox WorkCentres. Gmail's SMTP server normally doesn't work, as it requires that SSL is used.

Some example Xerox WorkCentre models that work with SMTP2Go are M118i, M24, M20, M20i, 4150 and 7132. All WorkCentre models will work with SMTP2Go.
