Great lens, I read on a lens before to read it out loud and it really makes a difference. If you sound it out you can get a better idea of what the impression the reader will have. It worked for my with my medical resume cover letter.

    Thanks

Such good advice ! We all could use help with our resume presentation skills - most times it becomes a one (wo)man process. We see ourselves as resume experts - when we should look outside the 'box'. 5* to your lens. Best to your work on Squidoo.

You know, today resume writing is NOT what it was in my heyday. I think it was Seth's ebook of his last set of interns which demonstrated how creative some resumes can be!

    Paul,
Great lens! Your advice to try writing your own resume first before hiring a live writer is true. Although some folks, like those coming out of the military, have NO idea where to start. They don't even speak the same language, unless the employer speaks acronym...
I found a great online tool for folks who need help with a military resume, Military Resume Wizard

Thanks again for all the great advice on creating resumes that win!
