Developing Intuition Doesn't Have To Be Difficult
Yes and no.
I'm progressively learning to develop my intuition, and until now, it's been a lot of trial and error. Some things work wonderfully, and I just "know," but other times no matter how much I try, I just can't seem to hear my intuition. I feel like it's testing me sometimes, and that can be frustrating - and yet it's also one of my spiritual lessons I know that it's time for me to learn.
We often look at a journey, such as developing intuition, as a "pot of gold" at the end of a rainbow. And it's easy to see a program like The Intuition Zone as that pot of gold... but it's important to remember how beautiful the rainbow is!
What I mean is... and we've all heard the saying, "It's not the destination - it's the journey." I am learning that to be true with my intuition as well. The more I explore it, the more clearly I hear it and the more fun I can have with it. I'm learning that awakening my intuition is a two-way street.
But the learning hasn't always been easy for me...

Did Freud Follow His Intuition?
That's a good question... and I'm not sure I can answer it! :)
Over time I've realized that when I don't listen to these insights that come from depths of myself, I'm doing nothing but a disservice to myself. This realization didn't dawn upon me all of a sudden... I didn't just have some "aha" intuition moment and it all suddenly made sense to me. It's happened over time, and one of the things that has helped me understand the importance of listening to intuition was exploring what Freud had to say about how the mind works.
So basically, according to Freud, our conscious mind consists of three components known as the Id, Ego and Super Ego. I'm not too sure what he called intuition, though. Anyway, the Id, Ego and the Super Ego are three manifestations of the conscious mind. Freud also asserted that our mind can be divided in to three parts; the conscious, unconscious and the sub conscious. His theory is that Id is inclined to satisfy needs while the Super ego is inclined to do what is morally correct. While the Id and Super ego fight over what to do, the ego comes in to play to strike balance and settle the matter.
So as a result, this endless struggle between the Id/Super ego and the ego keeps us very busy. This is the reason why we tend to ignore signals and messages coming from our intuition... we often just can't hear them through all that inner noise! (And even when we do hear them, intuition doesn't always make sense so it's easy to rationalize away)
The million dollar question right now is 'how to have our conscious mind accept our intuition as valid?' I found some answers on how to strike balance and develop intuition thanks to The Intuition Zone. I'm still working through the program, but if you'd like to follow along in my journey then check out some of the links below to my blog and see for yourself.

Just a Few Quick Tips of What I've Learned About Developing Intuition

Over time, I've started to wonder if the world might be seeing things with blurred vision. I don't mean it literally. What I say is that most people in this world, including you and me, have lost touch with ourselves while, participating in the great human marathon. :)
(I have a hunch... maybe call it "intuition"... that this might be related to the Freud stuff I mentioned above)
Developing intuition is all about getting touch with that lost self. But luckily for all of us, intuition gets lost nowhere but within ourselves. You may struggle a little bit at first to find intuition from its dormant place; but once you do find this miraculous power within you, you will never look back again.
So here are a few quick tips to help you develop your intuition:
- Believe In Your Higher Self - Know that there is a greater force, which is much advanced than any technology you can ever think of, that is being manifest through you.
- Understand That The Universal Energy Within You Is Part Of Nature. Thus, before you set off in the journey to awaken intuition, it is important to settle back to the normal pace of life.
- Meditate To Renew Your Life Energy. The basics of developing intuition require you to calm down and relax before the journey could begin.
- Be Open to New Experiences. Never undermine experiences, circumstances, people who come in to your life or situations. They all happen for a reason.
- Be Confident About Yourself. Awakening intuition involves boosting one's higher self. Self-confidence is the most appropriate tool that we know which can boost our higher self and can open up many gateways to many wonderful experiences.
The journey that leads to developing intuition may not be a walk on the park, (it certainly wasn't for me) and it becomes worse if you don't know from where to start from or what to do. I have struggled with my journey for years, and at least now the struggle is becoming less and less as I work through The Intuition Zone program.
As I mentioned above, I've written a few review articles of my thoughts about The Intuition Zone and it's not all good stuff (yes, I do have criticisms). Below is quick PDF report of my initial review thoughts on The Intuition Zone - I will be writing more in the future as I work through the program, but hopefully this will give you a quick idea what it's all about:
