My Story
The Real Rhonda Smith
I've been married for 20 years, I have three beautiful children who make life worth living. I have a 19 year old daughter - Shardai who is college basketball player stand out - I have 14 year old fraternal twins Robert who is a baseball standout and Rianna who is a creative genius..
I'm so proud of all three of my kids because they've all found something that they are passionate about at an early age.
My husband Robert is the owner of his own Plumbing Organization RKS Plumbing LLC..After years of pushing him to go it on his own he stepped out on faith in 2007 to make it happen. It's been the best ride of his life.
Our family loves all types of sporting events that we can share together and we all support each other.. While Robert and I support our kids sporting events..our kids support our bowling events.
Now I can't leave out my precious TIA - that's my pup..well she thinks she another one of the kids. She's a lab/pitbull mix black/white with spotted feet..She is the apple of my eye and clings to me like a new born baby.
My Previous Career:
I was an insurance agent for most of my adult life and I can tell you I really enjoyed the opportunity to serve people that were in my community..I started with the organization right after I got married.. I just walked into the office and asked for a job.. I started as a secretary and worked my way up in the company.. After five years I was asked to move to Portland Oregon and start my own insurance agency.. If you can imagine moving to a city where you knew not a single sole and had no experience in selling insurance - it was quite a task.
I was up for the challenge.. Within my first year I had broken all sales records and won all sorts of trips and prizes.. I was even asked to become a mentor for new agents that were just starting out.. I even starred in company videos and made radio commercials for the organization..My specialty was in building relationships which attributed to my great success.
You see I never was a salesperson.. I never could cold call and I did very little advertising.. I built my business on referrals.. I met with people..I identified their needs and I gave them a solution.
After 10 years of service, I received a visit from the Regional Vice President and a surprise it was..It was November 15 2000 and my office was really busy.. my District manager accompanied him so I thought they were coming to present me with another award..
Much to my surprise, an award was not forthcoming..They actually came to my office to tell me that my contract would not be renewed in January and that I could either leave then with severance or leave in January with nothing.
So what do you think I did:
Since I refused to make another dime for the company and leave all of the policies that I had worked so hard for.. I decided to leave then..Due to the non-compete clause in my contract, I was unable to go to another insurance company and solicit the business that I had so carefully created.
For eight long months I sat on my sofa in a state of depression.. I couldn't figure out why this company would do this to me.. especially after I had made them so much money...trained their new agents..helped recruit new agents..represented them on TV and radio.
So I had to get a j-o-b...that was so distasteful to me..After being self employed for so long and being my own boss.. how could I go back to being an employee.. I went from job to job until I could find a fit.
Every day I became more and more disatisfied with a job..I decided I would go back to school and get my Master's Degree..that would certainly get me what I wanted.
Remember, get a good education and you'll get a good job. I finished on the national dean's list but that still didn't land me that great job.
So I started looking, I had been approached in 1999 about network marketing but I just dismissed it because I didn't understand it. So I thought I'd start looking into the possibilities again.
So when I decided to look into network marketing I thought it would be a great fit..My first company was - you know - vitamins.. I thought everyone would need vitamins so this should be an easy sell..
Boy was I wrong.. Dragging folks to meetings, getting on conference calls, three way calling prospects and making a list were not my strong points.. I failed miserably at my first attempts to network marketing.. Like many others I was a part of the NFL (No Friends Left)..
It didn't stop there..I knew that if others were making money thru network marketing..I could too..So I failed some more.. But I was so persistent..
I bought everything I could get my hands on about becoming successful in the business..I studied like I was in grad school..I was determined that this thing would turn itself around..
The importance of having a mentor:
I finally met up with some folks whom I could identify with.. They showed me a better way of promoting online.. A Way that I was accustomed to..You see most folks try to sell a product or service first and they fail to understand that the Product is YOU.
You have to brand yourself, not your product or service this is the most important function of building an online business..
All those years in the insurance industry taught me that I sold the same products as any other insurance company.. But people bought insurance from me because I was different, I was a standout.. They knew if they came to me they would get the best service, an honest evaluation and if I couldn't help them I'd send them on their way as a friend. That was the difference, and it's the same in Internet Marketing.. YOU are the product so make YOU the difference.
So let me ask you a question..Do You Have Leverage?
In my experience, one of the most powerful concepts I learned when I set out to create financial freedom in my life was leverage.
Truly understanding this concept is what separates the poor and the middle class from the wealthy.
The poor will learn how to use enough leverage just to get by. The middle class will wait until they can look at their life and say "Gee, I think I'm comfortable" and then stop adding leverage to their lives.
But the wealthy will keep adding more and more leverage throughout their lives to get create more and more wealth. Wealthy people understand that creating wealth involves leveraging their time and money.
And that's why they have a lot of poor and middle class working for them.
But what is leverage, really?
Well, my Thesaurus says it's: influence, power, force, control, pull, weight. Simply put, leverage is doing more and more with less and less.
Less of what? Less time, less effort, less energy, less worry, less investment.
More of what? More income, more results, more value, more free time.
If you're currently trading your TIME for DOLLARS, you can only exchange about 14-15 hours a day and only earn so much (and you're literally selling your life). But if you can LEVERAGE time and have "systems" set up that run on their own, there's virtually no limit to how much you can earn.
So... the true secret to living an abundant life is not to get a great job, but to learn how to leverage your life.
Now there are certain forms of leverage that most people have absolutely no clue about. These are only used by a%2

What Is Your Compelling Reason
Your Why has to be Bigger Than YOU!
What compels you may seem like an odd question..But I've found in Internet Marketing if you don't have a compelling reason, you won't make it..I know everyone wants to have more money, freedom and time, but there's an underlying reason for wanting more of those items.I would encourage anyone looking to start an online business, MLM or e-business to find your WHY. Your WHY should be bigger than life, there must be an (obsession), live it, breath it, think it.. This will give you the success you're looking for.
If there is no determination or persistence, the first sign of doubt will bring you to your knees..Your WHY will move you past all obstacles, You'll be able to say to the mountain MOVE and it will.

What's the Difference Between Buyers and Visitors

Getting a good supply of buyers can be tricky but it's necessary if you plan to succeed online..So what is the difference between Buyers and Visitors.
You can get a mountain of visitors to your site but if your content doesn't reach out and grab their attention, their just that - a visitor..Someone who has stopped by without giving your information the time of day and now their gone forever.
Buyers are the people that are looking for what you have and want it because they see the value..They're not just visiting your site, they're spending money with you and because you've provided quality content or a quality service, you've got a buyer for life.
Stop wasting time on useless traffic that brings only visitors. Spend time building your business with quality content, offering quality products and/or services. Find out what your audience is looking for and give them what they want and need.
If you're looking for internet buyers, this is the service I would recommend.

- Hi Rhonda,
I was laid off my job on March 26, '09. I have some savings. Most of the internet opportunities I have looked at appears to only be scams acted on mostly the gullible and desparate. I willing to work a program if I find it profitable and authentic. Can you help me? Email: maze19carey@yahoo.com.

- Well written Rhonda - best of success to you and your business - I'm wondering you got your kids passionate at such an early age?
For sure who you associate with and who you work with make all the difference in the world!
Who you associate with etc.
There is a difference in who you hang your hat with,
Does your company bring out the best in you and in your results for marketing?
For example will your company help you make an income by giving away some thing people already use?
Or should I say if the customer switches, for free will you still get paid?
The answer to that is yes, find out more about bonus Dollars and saving on your electricity -
If the Franklin Power & Light information doesn't light your fire, then there is something wrong.
