SALARY REQUIREMENTS:
I am seeking a minimum of $7.50 an hour, but I will accept any reasonable salary.

OBJECTIVE:
My objective is to bring 100% satisfaction to all clientele.

QUALIFICATIONS
I worked in a zoo, restaurant and a horse race track. I have spoken to clients and listened to what they have needed or wanted in a product or service. I am very knowledgeable on a computer; I have taken several apart and built one from spare pieces. I also possess another ability that could prove to be an extremely useful if not valuable asset; I am completely bilingual, I speak, read and write Spanish just as well as I can English. I can analyze and memorize a menu board, apply health, safety and sanitation standards, conduct employee interviews, develop delivery and production schedules, schedule work hours, assign cleaning and extra duties for fellow employees, investigate and resolve customer complaints or inquiries, process records, maintain files and forms, manage personnel, procure and store meats and other products, provide friendly customer service, apply data and storage techniques, assist co-workers with hardware or software problems, finding documents, program computers with new or existing software. I am very good at working as a team member or alone as needed.

EDUCATION
1992-1996 Advanced Studies Diploma, Sunnyslope High School
I am very familiar with computers; I have refurbished several by myself. I know how to remove hardware, add hardware, software and how to reformat a hard drive. I know Microsoft word, works, spreadsheet, excel, power point, outlook, publisher, Windows Vista, XP, 98, 95 and even 3.1. I don't have any at the moment but I do know about many of the DOS formats. Trust me; I have had a lot of computers, old and new. I currently work off of a laptop but I do still have a desktop. I am currently learning the blog thing and the blurb (I still don't know what a blurb is). I am currently working on several Blog sites to help me understand what they are and what they can do for a product, service or even a person. I love the internet, anyone can find any information about any topic or subject. I love doing research; I do a lot of searching just for silly things that pop into my head.

EMPLOYMENT

2004- Present
There has been such a gap between employments because my husband and I started our family and I focused on our kids. Now his job of ten years has come to an end and I am going to take over the resources for our family.

2003-2003
Volunteer at World Wildlife Zoo
I cleaned out exhibits while learning about some of the animals, their behaviors, habits, habitats and diets.
Watched the behaviors of some of the animals and learned a lot of facts that I didn't know before. It was a great experience and I love animals it was great to work around and with some of them.

1998-2001
Shift Manager, Kentucky Fried Chicken
Handled large amounts of cash, filled out deposit slips and made deposits at bank. I entered information on the computer using the MERIT system. Supervised at least 5 employees daily, including their positions for the shift and giving their cleaning duties. I handled a moderate call volume on the four line phone systems in the delivery department.
I began my experience as at team member, working front counter and Drive thru. I was promoted to Shift Manager after demonstrating great customer service skills and patience with both fellow employees and customers. I was always willing to stay and work for someone who couldn't. I left to begin a family with my husband; I turned in a one month notice so there would be ample time to acquire a replacement. During my last week of employment a small sum of money came up missing from a deposit that I had made at the bank. I cannot tell how it happened but I do remember the day I made out the deposit. I took full responsibility and turned in my keys and uniforms; I left quietly and wanted to repay the money to prevent any harsh actions. I went to court and plead no contest to the charges for the money that came up missing.

1998
Maintenance, Turf Paradise Race Track
I was a maintenance associate and was responsible for cleaning the restrooms and floor areas. I had to wipe down counters and dust the monitors, swept the floors nightly and mopped when needed. I left because of the manager retiring only a month after being hired. A new manager took over and wanted her own crew, not my choice in jobs but was all I could get at the time.

1998
K-Café inside K-Mart
I began as an associate and did everything that normally required three people at one time. I was left to manage the kitchen myself, cooking, cleaning, serving and cashiering all at the same time. Because of the frequency of this happening I asked several managers at the store to help me discuss the problem with the café manager but no one would do anything. I felt as though I had no choice but to quit and seek other employment because the Store Manager would do nothing to the restaurant Manager to resolve this issue. I had learned upon leaving that I was given the title Assistant Manager but I would not go back.

1998
Thrift Store Linen & Draperies Inspector and Pricer
I was in control of the linens and draperies, it was my job to inspect and price all merchandise that was donated. I left due to cut backs and the store closed. The manager had left it up to me to find a way to increase the sales of the department. I did a pretty good job, I realized that since everything had been donated there was no sense in inflating the price to make it outrageous. This is what many second hand stores do. I increased the sale by 20% in just the two short months I was there. My family had always shopped at that store and thought I had done a great job. My mom like the improvements I had made in the linen and draperies department. The manager was impressed as well. Unfortunately the store closed and the strip mall was torn down, we were all sent to work elsewhere.
