Lettuce & Lovage Catering Company Bristol is different to other caterers. We are lucky enough to be based at the Avon Wildlife Trust's HQ at Folly Farm in Chew Magna, which means not only are we cooking and looking after our guests in beautiful surroundings, we also have immediate access to local farms where we can ensure we only buy quality produce which is in season.
We love to cater for weddings and parties and take a different approach to other caterers and venues who sometimes are only able to offer limited choices at set prices.
We realise how important it is to get the catering right, from the 1st glass of champagne to the last!
We like to sit down with you and tailor-make the menu and drinks offering to suit individual taste, every wedding is different and we want to make sure that we exceed all expectations, in the planning stages and most importantly on the day.
We have compiled some menu ideas and options for you to look through. We understand it can be daunting trying to decide on food choices and quantities so are always happy to help you through these choices. We also cater for those with dietary requirements; just let us know what they are and we'll suggest some alternatives.
Because we are Folly Farm's preferred caterers, we are able to offer competitive prices across the board.
Welcome your guests with a couple of glasses of home made Elderflower Champagne or a Bellini made with Strawberries picked that very morning from the farm up the road! Prices start at £12 per person.
For an Hour's worth of Nibbles, there is an interesting and varied choice including Buckwheat Blinis with Smoked Salmon, Leek & Stilton puff pastry tartlets and Spiced Crab Cakes with Sweet Chilli Dipping Sauce. Prices start at £9.95 per person.
For the Main Meal you can choose a Hog Roast or BBQ with all the trimmings from £16.95 per person, or a traditional sit down meal with 1 to 4 courses. In fact from as little as £11 per person you can choose Sausages with Mustard Mash or Char-Grilled Chicken Salad with Sorrel Hollandaise.
Prices range up to £37 for 4 courses including a selection of Local and British Cheeses.
Additionally, you can opt for a Carvery of a selection of Meats or a Whole Salmon or Trout with home made chutneys and pickles, prices for these start from as little as £10.50 per person.
Once you have an idea of what you would like, we will price your individual menu for you. There are no hidden extras or supplements, and we don't skimp on quantity or quality.
Furthermore, if you have a particular request or don't see what you'd like on the menu, then we'll add it on!
We are a new company made up of passionate, conscientious foodies. If we don't leave you with a fantastic lasting impression, we won't be around for long, and that's NOT part of our mission statement!

It is the intention of Rhubarb Catering Company Bristol to be the most in demand caterer in the West Country and caterer of choice for all local businesses. Following is the menu that we provided for a wedding catering event at Folly Farm in Somerset. Fabulous canapés on arrival and then lunch was served from the barbecue. The berries were locally sourced from just down the road.

What's next on the Outside Catering Calender?
We are starting to think about Christmas puddings and whether we should make a few hundred now so that they're ready for December and we getting ready for the Autumn goodies that'll be pushing up through woody soils. Yep, you guessed it- mushroom season will be upon us in September until December. Lots of walks in the woods, wrapped up warm, pub lunches or an early pint and home home with the treasure.
