The Richard Jury murder mysteries by Martha Grimes

Ranked #930 in Books, Poetry & Writing, #42,594 overall

I am fond of murder mysteries and these are good ones!

One of the fun things about these mysteries is that every title is also the name of a real pub somewhere in Britain.

I also like her twisted sense of humor involving the subplots and the background characters.   I particularily like Cyril the cat who manages to live very nicely even when the office he chooses to live in is also inhabited by someone who absolutely loathes cats.

The Richard Jury novels, in order

It's one of my (many) lifetime goals to read this entire series, in order. Why? Because there's a number of interesting subplots going on among the main characters and I'd like to see *all* of those and in order!
