Different looks at dreaming and conceptualizing
I carry 2 or 3 different types of Moleskines, pads, notebooks with me, no matter where I go.You just never know when a great idea will hit you, and what genius mostly is(I'm not a genius) . . . is the ability to quickly record the idea, or that ah-ha moment!
The difference in my work is absolutely marked by the point where I started carrying around a Moleskine or a notebook.
Jotting down those ideas as they came, instead of as "how I remembered them" really has made me a better Landscape Designer in my work.
But don't just believe me. Try it for yourself, see what kind of help it will be for you. Remember, it's the capturing of that ah-ha moment as it occurs and not trying to remember what that brilliant idea "was".
