I have known my mate Rob for a good few years now and he seems to have both hs luck and mine. He is an avid predator angler - particularly pike and has had some success and is a member of the Pike Anglers Club in the UK. Last year the Pike Anglers Club, who also target other predators like the catfish (or cat fish), had a draw to encourage new membership. The prize was a cat fishing holiday in Spain on the River Ebro complete with all the tackle, permits and a professional guide. Yes you guessed it he won. The opportunity to fish for huge catfish.
Next I, his best mate, was asked to take him to the airport - several times a day for about a month. NOT that he likes to rub things in.

Of course the trip involved an early start and with the current 'War on Terror' everyone has to jump through hoops and arrive hours earlier than necessary in order to permit the security poeple to earn their money. I do not like early starts (usually they involve fishing trips - after huge carp) but got up at 05.00 in order to get him to the airport on time. He travelled on Saturday with the cat fish fishing due to start on Sunday morning.
