Who is Robbie Williams

This is the song that introduced me to Robbie Williams. It is a soaring ballad and became his best selling and most recognized track.

In the UK, it has been voted the best song of the past thirty years, as well as winning the Brit Award as the Best British Single at the 1999 Awards.

Robbie Williams began his singing career, at the age of 16, with the British boy band Take That. In 1995, he left the group amid tensions between he and the other members and their management.

However, it was announced in July, 2010 that Robbie Williams was to rejoin Take That. The acrimonious relationship between Williams and co-member Gary Barlow has been patched up and the two recorded a duet called Shame which was released on October 4, 2010.

On August 7, 2010 the "secret" wedding between Robbie Williams and long-term girlfriend Ayda Field took place at Williams' Beverly Hills mansion. Reports of a Robbie Williams wedding had been circulating for some time, with the singer at first denying the rumours. However, those rumours were put aside when the pop singer, amid a handful of wedding guests, finally tied the knot with the American actress.

As with all celebrity weddings, it has also been reported that Ayda Field has signed a prenuptial agreement, limiting the amount of money she could walk away with should the marriage fail. Williams is estimated to be worth in the region of £80million. But, everyone is hoping She's the One.
