Real Estate Investing Works

Look, investing in real estate is a great way to not only leverage your wealth so that you can create a nice portfolio of assets, but it is also a fantastic way to create a retirement vehicle. However, the problem with real estate investing is that there are a lot of "gurus" that pull people into the market and sabotage it thanks to lousy advice and generally bad systems of investing. This has a negative effect on the overall market because it sours the term "real estate investor" and I've heard more than a few people laugh when I tell them what I do.

Terrible Tactics

Well, although there are also several guys giving good advice, I'd like to tell you about one to stay away from. His name is Robert G. Allen and he's got material all over the place trying to lure you into debt and financial ruin. Here is a sample of his advice:

* Lie to banks and lenders by creating a 2nd mortgage with seller financing so that you risk being investigated for fraud.

* Get loans with no money down so that you end up being "upside down" with your lender and owe more than the house is worth.

* Over-leverage yourself so that you expand too quickly and end up in bankruptcy court trying to save yourself from your lenders.

End Up in Court

Furthermore, not only do the Robert G. Allen Real Estate Seminars scam you with their tactics, but he scams you with his sales pitch too!

* He's often referred to his business as "show business," where he isn't actually selling investing methods. He makes money selling "systems" to people that don't know any better, not investing in real estate.

* He says that he's made hundreds of thousands in real estate investing, but why does he have several leans against him from the IRS and what was he doing filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection?

* The "free seminars" that he produces, usually aren't even taught by him!

* Claims of making several thousand dollars in 24 hours to sell a program were actually the result of months of work behind closed doors.

This guy is a super scammer and has no business selling real estate investing materials at all. Unfortunately, there are many people that have lost thousands of dollars buying into his systems sold at his seminars that never saw a dime of real estate profit. Don't let this happen to you!

Stick with the "Real" Professionals

If you really want to make money in real estate, it can be done, but you have to stay away from scam artists like Robert G. Allen.

Stick with the true "veterans" that practice what they preach and work in the business they claim to. Sure, you could go for the hype and buy the easy solution, but you will end up just like Robert Allen, in front of a judge begging for mercy. Don't let your first experience in real estate be a bad one, instead simply find someone that knows what they are talking about and follow their advice.

There is money to be had in real estate, but you have to follow a real system.

As an active Real Estate Investor, I am always on the look out for solid Investment Guidance, I recently came across a system that has proven to be absolutely invaluable and I highly recommend it to anyone who is involved (or wants to be involved) in Real Estate Investing.
