Secrets for a Luscious Rose Garden
- for brighter and bigger roses add about 1/4 cup of epsom salts around the base of your rose bush! This will get soaked into the soil as it rains!
-pruning your rose bush is a definite requirement for healthy roses, be sure you remove old branches and dead leaves as soon as you can
-be sure to use a fertilizer on your rose bushes to prevent disease and pests from harming them
- roses need a lot of sunshine so be sure to plant them where they get sun for 5 to 6 hours a day

Tips for Cutting Roses
Choose a bud that is just beginning to open, approx. 1/3 open. Cut roses using a pair of sharp pruners, leaving a few leaves attached. Immediately after cutting immerse stems in water. If taking indoors cut stems again on an angle and then place in desired container. To extend life use a floral preservative or add a squeeze of lemon + a tbsp. of sugar to the water. Change the water as necessary! Enjoy!

- Every time.. EVERY TIME...I come to your beautiful lenses, the colors grab me. You are such a wizard in the visual sense that I can smell the roses. I almost tried to sniff one... You get more and more determined that I will be buying my stamps and cards from you, don't you ;) Love this lens and yes, I will be soon.
