Roxy Music is an English art rock group founded in the early 1970s by art school graduate Bryan Ferry (vocals and keyboards).
Brian Eno, who played synthesizer and is probably best known for his extensive work with U2, was a member for awhile.
Roxy Music was active from 1971 through 1983, and reunited for a concert tour in 2001. There has been talk of recording a new album for an as yet-to-be-confirmed release date.

Introducing Roxy Music
Roxy Music attained mainstream popular and critical success in the UK and Europe during the 1970s and early 80s, beginning with their 1972 Top 10 debut album, Roxy Music.
The band exerted significant influence on the early British punk movement, and also served as a "role model" for many New Wave performers and the subsequent New Romantic and experimental electronic artists of the early 1980s.
Ferry and co-founding member Eno have both had successful solo careers, the latter emerging as one of the most significant record producers of the late 20th century, whose credits include landmark albums by U2, Devo, Talking Heads, and later Coldplay.
Rolling Stone magazine ranked Roxy Music #98 on its "100 The Greatest Artists of All Time" list.

Love is the Drug
Roxy Music's first and biggest hit... and my least favorite, but hey, that's just me!
This is a live concert version of the song.

The Avalon Video
A sweeping romantic song with a video to match the mood.
More Than This
Possibly Roxy Music's best known mainstream song, as it was remade by 10,000 Maniacs in 1997.
Don't Stop the Dance
A top solo performance by Bryan Ferry.
Slave to Love
This song was featured on the soundtrack to the controversial film 9 and a Half ½ Weeks
Roxy Music & Bryan Ferry CDs
A selection of greatest hits collections from Roxy Music as well as Ferry as a solo artist, plus my personal favorite LP by the band, "Avalon".

- I love Roxy Music too. 5***** Maybe their earlier singles didn't hit the USA, because in the UK their first big hit was Virginia Plain, then Pajamarama, then I believe Do The Strand. The double CD for the 2001 tour is GREAT!
