Review of Rue:
Rue McClanahan's book "My First Five Husbands...and the ones who got away" is a Candid, hysterical, revealing read from The Golden Girls star.
Rue makes you feel like you've just sat down with her at the table and is sharing all her gal secrets with you over some wine and cheesecake. Rue loved her men and loved her career; she takes you into great detail of both parts of her life throughout this book. Somewhat surprising at how much Miss Rue and her character, Blanche, are alike.
You will laugh...alot. And most likely, you'll be a little shocked at her vulnerability as well. Rue also has no problem naming names in Hollywood if she didn't get along with them!
