A Tribute to Secretary Rumsfeld
Ranked #2,326 in News, #197,463 overall | Donates to Soldiers Angels
Thanks for your service.
This is a well deserve tribute to a great American hero. He has served his county with honor and distinction and he has suffered great criticism by his detractors. He has made our military stronger and our country safer and for that I am grateful. Recently, he has been vilified unfairly for fighting in an unpopular war in Iraq. By no means he is perfect. He has made mistakes as we all have. Ultimately, I believe history will be kinder to this man. He is following in the footsteps of some of our great leaders. May God bless Mr. Rumsfeld.

TRIBUTE? He should be ashamed of how he continued to destroy the US Army, bungled the whole Iraq War because he wanted to prove GEN Colin Powell & GEN Schwartzkoff wrong. He's a Navy pilot and doesn't understand ground warfare. President Gerald Ford told it like it was before he passed on.
We would have been out of Iraq if Rumsfeld followed the suggestions/plans of the US Army generals. and in an interview Rumsfeld said (when asked about whether he made any mistakes or had any regrets) "I don't look back." How pompous is that. He's a disgrace!

I like him and appreciate this lens. Politics are difficult no matter what the political leanings. I'll be back to read...er..click more.

Great lens. Here's some political videos of the 2008 presidential race candidates expressing their views on issues such immigration, the war in Iraq, abortion, gay marriage, etc.

Wow, someone else who likes him! He's done SO much, but was fairly driven out of office, the hideous problems in Iraq placed a black cloud over everything else. Thanks for recalling that to our minds.
