My Runner's Story

I started my running journey about 8 years ago at the age of 41. Before I was never even be able to imagine myself running! I always was in awe when I saw women running and looking so fit and healthy! I wish I had their motivation, their intuition and their compel! But there was that small voice in my head keeping convincing - its hard; why should you force yourself? I bet you are familiar with that 'little voice in your head'.

But I needed to lose some weight and was looking for a solution. Online I met my personal trainer from Train.com and I started my runners story. That silly voice was trying to keep me away from accomplishing my dreams, but then it somehow it faded away and eventually that feeling of euphoria - 'runner's high that keeps runners coming back for more kicks in.

Once you get over the mental challenge that running can create, running can be one of the most therapeutic exercises! It's a breeze! Its addiction to good feeling, addiction to enjoying your good health and slim body! It's great anti stress as well!

Based on personal experience whether we're out there chasing big dreams, the dollar, or simply a better way of feeling, I can now say that whatever we're after, running is an exercise that should absolutely be incorporated into every healthy lifestyle! It's a challenge to run long distances and one that must be slowly built up to over time. But, it's something that's worth the effort because the feeling at the end is super rewarding!

There's a lot to learn about yourself while running solo: Exploring your competitive side can offer benefits beyond running. Racing can help you tap into a goal-setting, assertive and self-disciplined side of your personality. Channeled correctly, these attributes can boost your success in other parts of your life, such as in the workplace.

I love, love, love my running workouts! Me, who was never able to run even 50 m! Everything is possible!

I am 49 years old but my biological age states I am 30!!! I attribute this success also to running.

Enjoy this lens and lets jogging !

Types of Running

Casual Running

The majority of runners do it casually for the physical, social, and mental benefits. Casual runners usually love accessibility of running -- you don't need any fancy equipment and you can do it almost anywhere. And it's never too late to start running, as many people who have taken up the sport in their 50s, 60s, and even 70s have proved.

Treadmill Running .

A great alternative to running outside when the weather is bad, a treadmill runningis usually easier than outdoor running and can be gentler on your joints. Most treadmills allow runners to change their pace, incline, and resistance so they can simulate outdoor running and vary their workouts to prevent boredom.

Racing

Some runners enjoy the adventure and competition of participating in road races, from 5Ks to half and full marathons. The vast majority of people enter races not to win (or even come close), but to set a personal goal and achieve it. Many former coach potatoes have become hooked on the sport after training for their first road race.

Trail Running

For those who love to enjoy scenery and peaceful surroundings while exercising, trail running is a fantastic option. Trail running usually takes place on hiking trails of varying terrain, from deserts to mountains. Trail runners may find themselves sidestepping roots, scrambling up rocks, running through streams, or traversing up steep hills. For the trail runner who loves to compete, trail races take place throughout many country.

Many women run because they like to socialize and be part of a running community.

Women Running clubs and charity training groups give people the opportunity to meet and train with others ladies. Some runners participate in local events or travel to race destinations with their running buddies.

For many joining Running Club or Group could be easer way to start running at all.

Morning is the Best Time for Women Jogging

Why morning:

First, it's the safest time; statistics show that women are more likely to be attacked late in the day.

Second, studies have shown that morning exercisers are more likely to stick with it, because what you do first thing gets done.

Third, it saves you a round of dressing, undressing and showering at lunchtime or later.

Fourth, it gives you a feeling of accomplishment, which is a great mental and physical start to the day.

Get Started!

Get Started!

Do want run but don't feel that you can? Have you heard that a good way is to get running buddy?

But where to get one? I have found a great option - I have my own personal running workout trainer.

You too can get one, click HERE.

DO :

- Wake up 45 minutes earlier than you usually do in the morning
- Go to the bathroom
- Eat a piece of fruit or bar
- Put on your running clothes and before you have time to do anything else!!!
- Pick up your MP3 player

DON'T :

- Go check e-mail,
- Read the newspaper while you eat,
- Turn on the television - just step out of your home and start running!!!!

If you stop to read or watch TV you will be tempted to just stay home and continue this activity and then you won't have time to run.

Believe me , You Can Do It! You are NOT alone - you have your Personal Running Trainer!

Personal Running Trainer - Ready To Help You

Personal Running Trainer right on your iPod or MP3 player.

Hear the encouragement and motivation along with expert coaching and instruction coming out of your headphones, as you push yourself out of your comfort and into the training zone! Much more fun and much easier, right?

All you need to get started is an MP3 player and desire to get fit.

So, what are the benefits of using these MP3 guided workouts you ask?

- Saves You Money

Well, for starters, they offer you a huge savings when compared to typical training sessions with a personal fitness coach. Normally, working one-on-one with your own trainer can cost you anywhere from $75-$150/hr depending on the credentials and experience of the trainer. Conversely, using an MP3 fitness program that has been developed by a top trainer can save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

- Provides Expert Coaching and Encouragement

- Better and Faster Results

One of the main benefits I consider of having your own trainer is his ability to push you beyond your "perceived" limits. As a result, you attain your goals (weight loss and health benefits) in a shorter time.
