Reflective Running Gear

Make Yourself Visible In The Dark!

Reflective Clothes Should Be The Most Important Part Of Your Running Gear!

Many people have a busy day and schedule their running routine in the early morning or late evening hours. Running in the dark has its dangers, though. Most running shoes nowadays come with reflective strips attached and some might even have a reflective sole. Many runners think that this is enough to make themselves seen when it is dark. But really: It is not. You have to make sure that you can be seen from any possible angle!

At night you are hard to see for bikes and cars, plus many people have a bad night vision, anyway. And unfriendly weather conditions like rain or fog can make things even worse. So when you run under these conditions it is in your best self interest to do everything possible to make yourself visible. So make sure to wear reflective vests, armbands or maybe even a headlamp.

You don't want to get hit by a car, do you?

another quick tip: when you live in a area where there is hunting, it's best to wear a orange vest.
