Rush, unedited...

Did I hear it right? The White House's new conservative target is Rush Limbaugh? Just a second while I gather my composure... b'HA! okay...

Get this: Liberals are calling Rush Limbaugh the leader of the Republican party. Contrary to leftist intentions, it has served to skyrocket his ratings rather than put him out of the mainstream. I have to say... usually, what the democrats do and say either makes me cry or laugh heartily. This time, they have succeeded in doing both; I laughed so hard that it brought tears to my eyes!

We all know that Rush has been around for a good long time, and in my opinion, he has only gotten better with age. His ratings indicate that I'm not the only one who thinks so. Those of us who listen to him know that he's not only entertaining, but he's brilliant... and he's right, in more than one way. And now, according to the White(washed) House, he's too brilliant for comfort. Can I ask you a "stupid" question? Since when is a conservative radio talk show host a threat to the nation? Oh, but we have to remember that the "strategy" of the left is to simply win more popularity than the Republicans, or at least to appear that way. So, their plans sound like this: "Let's make a fire, so we can put it out, and then at least we will LOOK like we know what we're talking about." Does anyone still wonder why conservatives are worried about the real fate of this nation?

The White House Democrats' desire to distract us is all a part of the plan, I'm sure. First, they freely dish out the worst lies and slander that they can come up with about Republicans (ie: the classy slogan, F... Bush). When the Republicans gather amongst themselves in Washington, the mafia... er... media, put on their vulture, er... virtue... suits and begin seeking whom they may devour, because fair reporting is too dull, especially when the cameras are on the Republicans. Oh, but they will tell you that they are just doing their jobs. Then, when people like Rush (with enough guts to care less about their appetite for worms) refuses to apologize for saying that he doesn't want Obama's plans to succeed, that's their que to bite off more than they can chew.

Then, Larry King invites a couple of goons named Stephanie Miller and Ariana Huffington on the air to talk "politics." Miller's carniverous tendencies slip out in an ignored, but potent statement that Rush Limbaugh should be "executed for treason" and uses the moldy quip that Bush caused the recession (when we all know it was the Democratic stronghold in Congress that attached pork and refused to allow Fannie and Freddie to be squelched. Then, Huffington chimes in, attempting to sound like she understands statistics, but she botches it up, first by considering a New York Times poll a valid statistic. And then by implying that college aged 18-25 year-olds represent the majority of Americans. b'HA! She continues to make her point, saying that less than 30% of our young newbie Americans favored the Republican Party. I wouldn't be surprised if college-aged students represented less than 30% of the entire population of America. Way to go, Liberal Larry!

Anyway, with all of the recent hilarious hoopla about Rush, I thought it would be only slightly fair to give those of you who are tired of Obama's personal mafia, I mean media, a chance to get to know the REAL Rush by "allowing" you to listen to Rush's entire unedited speech, complete withOUT subtitles.

Sit back and listen for yourself...

I absolutely adore him. He's so intelligent and darn funny plus his show is riveting. The left hates him because they know he's effective. I love him because he says the things I'm thinking, giving voice to my beliefs.

angelwings13 says:

N4QY says:

I really like Rush and am a long time listener. He has the Democrat's number and they can't stand that. He knows how to keep them in a snit. He tells the truth about them and that is why they hate him.

amandascloset0 says:

I've listened, watched and read Rush's take on politics since the Bill Clinton was elected. I've always found him to be very intelligent about politics and current affairs. I've also found him to be honost about many of the true intentions of our so called leaders.

no, because...

freddi says:

I think he has his place and certainly the right to say what he thinks. I do think there are plenty of liberals in the media and we need conservative voices. However, I think he incites a lot of anger and hatred and we have plenty of that. I think he does too much assuming of people's motives too.

Rush Limbaugh is a way of life for over twelve million avid and devoted listeners. For three hours every day this comic conservative of the airwaves with "talent on loan from God" entertains, provokes and persuades friends and enemies alike in a no-holds-barred show that is one of the biggest draws in radio history. Using personal anecdotes, Limbaugh now reveals the major influences on his life and views, and blasts off on all the leading issues of our day. Nothing escapes his acerbic wit and huggable charm as he proves why he is on the cutting edge of societal evolution and the epitome of morality and virtue. Here he holds forth on such subjects as: Anita Hill, The Homeless Fraud, The Media, and many others. Tackling the hottest topics of the times from Feminazis to Environmentalist Wackos, Rush Limbaugh is at his satirical best---the provocative conservative and the showman who is "documented to be almost always right 97.9% of the time" about The Way Things Ought To Be.

By its second day in the stores, Limbaugh's second book had the biggest early sales of a hardcover book in publishing history. That's what the man himself let slip on his radio show, and as he says, he purveys only the truth--a statement that is itself true in terms of both factual accuracy and ideological sincerity. But the truth has little to do with Limbaugh's appeal and success. Those come to him because he is relentlessly upbeat, an indomitable patriot, a booster for capitalism, and a feisty flouter of sanctimonious special pleaders and those most despised of nay-sayers, establishment (the Times, the Post, Time, Newsweek, the networks, etc.) journalists, who'd be much (well. . . a teensy bit, maybe) more acceptable to Limbaugh if they'd only 'fess up to their liberal bias. All of those qualities are here in spades, just as they were in last year's phenomenal best-seller, The Way Things Ought to Be. What's missing is Limbaugh's hilarious, irreverent, and canny use of pop culture--for instance, the New Orleans novelty song, "Ain't Got No Home," introducing updates on homelessness, and a 1960s surfer-rock parody called "The Little First Lady with Meg'lomania," twitting Hillary Clinton--which highlights his radio program and makes it magnetically listenable. To make up for this loss, there's at least chapter 25, "The Politically Correct Liberal Lexicon," but, really, there's no loss to make up, for Limbaugh in his more somber print manifestation is still political and social commentary so lively it cries out to be read and agreed or disagreed with, but always enjoyed.

Sometimes You Just Gotta Laugh [VHS]

Hilarious, and a little bit scary!
"Sometimes You Just Gotta Laugh" is a collection of some of the funniest moments from Rush Limbaugh's 1990's television program. Limbaugh takes us on an A to Z tour with video clips and sound bites of liberals making complete fools of themselves, from Bill and Hillary Clinton to former Surgeon General Joycelyn "Foot-in-Mouth" Elders to Ted "The man whose sobriety is as elusive as his pants" Kennedy to Supreme Tree Hugger Algore. Rush skewers the Left's sacred cows while the liberals skewer themselves. You'll laugh yourself silly at first, and then the scary part will set in when you recall that these people used to run the country at one time. SYJGL is gut-bustingly funny. This tape also contains "Rush Limbaugh's American Dream," a 30 minute piece where Rush adopts a more serious tone in which he addresses such issues as welfare/entitlement schemes, the culture war/values gap and abortion/general lack of respect for life in our society. "Sometimes You Just Gotta Laugh" is a definite must-see.

The most eagerly awaited event in the editorial cycle at TIME Magazine is always the selection of the cover. The best covers capture the zeitgeist of the week while surviving the judgment of history. As browsing this collection of TIME cover art prints shows, TIME is as good a record as any of who and what mattered over the past 80-plus years. And so when TIME captures a person, an event or a trend within its iconic red borders, the magazine is adding that extra dose of significance that no other publication can quite match. That is one reason why the original artwork for more than 800 TIME covers now resides in the National Portrait Gallery in Washington. Thanks to an amazing roster of artists, photographers and graphic designers, from TIME's earliest charcoal drawings of cover subjects to its later black-and-white photography to the more recent paintings and stunning color photography, TIME covers have always been, sometimes quite literally, works of great art. And, while the times may change, the TIME cover, with its iconic red border, has never lost its power to immediately send the signal that this person or event or idea is important to our lives, that in some way history is being made before our eyes.

The hottest and most controversial book of the year! Find out who really controls the media in America.

"[Ann Coulter] is never in doubt. And that, along with her bright writing, sense of irony and outrage, and her relish at finally hitting back at political opponents (especially in the media) is what makes Slander such refreshing and provocative reading."
-Los Angeles Times

"[Ann Coulter] is a fluent polemicist with a gift for Menckenesque invective . . . and she can harness such language to subtle, syllogistic argument."
-Washington Post Book World

"The most popular nonfiction book in America."-New York Times

"The real value of Slander . . . is not in the jokes or devastating exposés of liberal politicians and their allies, but the serious and scholarly study of just how entrenched the media prejudice is against anyone whose politics are even faintly conservative."
-New York Sun

"Written with a great deal of passion . . . the real source of its strength-and its usefulness-was its painstaking marshalling of evidence . . . More important than [High Crimes and Misdemeanors] because it addresses a much broader issue, and one of lasting significance."-National Review

The 10 Big Lies About America: Combating Destructive Distortions About Our Nation

Amazon Price: $17.79 (as of 12/01/2009)Buy Now
Used Price: $7.67

"It aint so much the things we don't know that get us into trouble," nineteenth-century humorist Josh Billings remarked, "It's the things we know that just aint so."

In this bold and brilliantly argued book, acclaimed author and talk-radio host Michael Medved zeroes in on ten of the biggest fallacies that millions of Americans believe about our country, in spite of incontrovertible facts to the contrary. In The 10 Big Lies About America, Medved pinpoints the most pernicious pieces of America-bashing disinformation that pollute current debates about the economy, race, religion in politics, the Iraq war, and other contentious issues.

The myths that Medved deftly debunks include:

Myth: The United States is uniquely guilty for the crime of slavery and based its wealth on stolen African labor.

Fact: The colonies that became the United States accounted for, at most, 3 percent of the abominable international slave trade; the persistence of slavery in America slowed economic progress; and the U.S. deserves unique credit for ending slavery.

Myth: The alarming rise of big business hurts the United States and oppresses its people.

Fact: Corporations played an indispensable role in building America, and corporate growth has brought progress that benefits all with cheaper goods and better jobs.

Myth: The Founders intended a secular, not Christian, nation.

Fact: Even after ratifying the Constitution, fully half the state governments endorsed specific Christian denominations. And just a day after approving the First Amendment, forbidding the establishment of religion, Congress called for a national "day of public thanksgiving and prayer" to acknowledge "the many signal favors of Almighty God."

Myth: A war on the middle class means less comfort and opportunity for the average American.

Fact: Familiar campaign rhetoric about the victimized middle class ignores the overwhelming statistical evidence that the standard of living keeps rising for every segment of the population, as well as the real-life experience of tens of millions of middle-class Americans.

Each of the ten lies, widely believed among elites and taught as truth in universities and public schools, is a grotesque, propagandistic distortion of the historical record. For everyone who is tired of hearing America denigrated by people who don't know what they're talking about, The 10 Big Lies About America supplies the ammunition necessary to fire back the next time somebody tries to recycle these baseless beliefs. Medved's witty, well-documented rebuttal is a refreshing reminder that as Americans we should feel blessed, not burdened, by our heritage.

About the Author
MICHAEL MEDVED is the host of one of the most popular talk-radio programs in the country, reaching more than four million loyal listeners. He is the bestselling author of ten other books, including Right Turns, Hollywood vs. America, and What Really Happened to the Class of 1965? A member of USA Today's board of contributors, he also writes a weekly column for Townhall.com. For more than a decade he served as cohost of Sneak Previews, PBS's weekly movie-review show. Medved graduated from Yale with departmental honors in American history and attended Yale Law School as well. He lives with his family in the Seattle area.

Fleeced: How Barack Obama, Media Mockery of Terrorist Threats, Liberals Who Want to Kill Talk Radio, the Do-Nothing Congress, Companies That Help Iran, and Washington Lobbyists for Foreign Governments Are Scamming Us ... and What to Do About It

Amazon Price: $17.79 (as of 12/01/2009)Buy Now
Used Price: $0.60

Here are the facts:

The United States has released 425 terrorists from Guant%uFFFDnamo, at least 50 of whom have returned to the battlefield to fight our troops.

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton both say they're fiscally responsible. But each has called for $1 trillion in tax increases over the next ten years-and dressed them up as tax cuts!

Mainstream Media has been given marching orders from the Society of Professional Journalists: never refer to "Islamic terrorists" or "Muslim terrorists." And they are obeying! Whenever our brave agents disrupt a terror plot, The media dismisses the culprits as a gang of idiots-lulling us into a false sense of security.

If the liberals win the 2008 election, they will cripple talk radio-forcing stations to give equal time to left-wing programs, and insisting that liberals play a key role in station management.

Up to a quarter of all state pension funds in the United States are invested in companies that are helping Iran, Syria, North Korea, or the Sudan-for a total of nearly $200 billion.

The Do-Nothing Congress is still doing nothing-and the worst offenders are the presidential candidates Clinton, Obama, and McCain, who never show up for their day jobs as senators . . . except to pick up their $165,000 paycheck!

Is it any wonder that Americans feel fleeced at every turn?

As more and more critical problems develop that need national attention, the White House and Congress appear to be AWOL.

Who's calling the shots instead?

Big business, big government, big labor, and big lobbyists. And their self-serving agendas are doing nothing to help the ever-increasing number of American people who are losing their homes, paying credit card interest rates higher than 25 percent, and finding their jobs increasingly outsourced to foreign countries.

In this hard-hitting call to arms, Dick Morris and Eileen McGann reveal the hundreds of ways American tax-payers are routinely fleeced-by our own government; by foreign countries like Dubai that are gobbling up American interests and spending millions to influence government decisions and American public opinion; by Washington lobbying firms that are pushing the agendas of corrupt foreign dictators on Capitol Hill; and by hedge-fund billionaires collecting huge tax breaks courtesy of the IRS.

With their characteristic blend of sharp analysis and insider insight, Morris and McGann call offenders of all kinds on the carpet-and offer practical agendas we all can follow to help turn the tide.

About the Author

Dick Morris served as Bill Clinton's political consultant for twenty years. A regular political commentator on Fox News and other networks, he is the author of six New York Times bestsellers (all with Eileen McGann), including Outrage, and one Washington Post bestseller.

48 Liberal Lies About American History: (That You Probably Learned in School)

Amazon Price: (as of 12/01/2009)Buy Now

Over the last forty years, history textbooks have become more and more politically correct and distorted about our country's past, argues professor Larry Schweikart. The result, he says, is that students graduate from high school and even college with twisted beliefs about economics, foreign policy, war, religion, race relations, and many other subjects.

As he did in his popular A Patriot's History of the United States, Professor Schweikart corrects liberal bias by rediscovering facts that were once widely known. He challenges distorted books by name and debunks forty-eight common myths.

A sample:

--The founders wanted to create a "wall of separation" between church and state
--Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation only because he needed black soldiers
--Truman ordered the bombing of Hiroshima to intimidate the Soviets with "Catomic diplomacy"
--Mikhail Gorbachev, not Ronald Reagan, was responsible for ending the Cold War
--America's past, though not perfect, is far more admirable than you were probably taught.
