Seattle 100 Charity Event

For 6 years, the Seattle 100 has been a charity event that has thrilled motorcycle enthusiasts and has gained increased recognition with national television and motorcycle superstars. The event raised money for the NephCure Foundation (www.nephcure.org), the only organization in the world dedicated solely to the cause and cure of glomerular kidney disease.

My husband and I have participated in this event for the last 4 years. Its a great day filled with motorcycle racer celebrities, great people, great swag, motorcycle riding, a dinner and auction after all events are done for the day. We've met Chaz Davies, Greg White, David Allen Grier, Jake Zemke, Jason Disalve, Ben Spies, Jake Holden, Danny Eslick, Josh Hayes.

"Racing" for a cure

Donate to Burgi Racing's Team

As I mentioned above, my husband and I have participated in the Seattle 100 for the last 4 years. It's our biggest donation event that we do and we love participating. My husband is an avid motorcycle rider, loves everything related to motorcycles (except for harley's - sorry). We watch motorcycle racing and go to races and he club races and I work with the motorcycle club. It's all about motorcycles in my house! So when we got envolved with the Seattle 100, it was our chance to put our money where are passion is and give back.

We've raised about $500 - $750 each year and this year I want to go BIG! I want to get more people involved and give back to the community helping the Nephcure foundation raise money for research and to find a cure for glomerular kidney disease. You can read more about the Seattle 100 event here: http://www.seattle100.com.

Our second year participating, Greg White, From Speed TV's Two Wheel Tuesday (now off the air), was there to promote the Seattle 100 on Speed TV. It was the same year that we got our second puppy, Pandora, and the S100 was the day after we got her. We brought her to the track and she was a hit with EVERYONE.
