SEO and Good Dofollow

One thing that every person looking to promote their blog or website looks for is good dofollow links. These are links that pass on the most possible link juice and can help your site or blog rank for authority and Page Rank. They can sometimes have the additional benefits by driving visitors in addition to their Search Engine Optimization(SEO) purposes. Really good SEO compliant dofollow links can be worth their weight in gold if managed correctly.

What is a good dofollow link?

First off to be precise there is no such thing as a dofollow link. What it really is an absence of a nofollow link. Nofollow is a tage that many sites and engines (default in wordpress) add to their tags that "stop" the spiders from following the link to the next page. This means that the link doesn't get indexed and the "vote" and "link juice" that the backlink could give you becomes worth less. Notice it is not worthless to link on no follow, it is just worth less.

In addition to being "dofollow" a quality link should be from a quality site. That means that the site should rank well with Google and links from it should have the ability to show up higher in results. It is a proven fact that Google seems to favor many sites. Likely because these sites themselves are better at SEO practices.

The following is a list of many of the BEST places to find quality one way dofollow links:

Seo Dofollow Resources

SEO Dofollow ResourcesSquidoo: A Wonderful Dofollow Resource:

If you are coming to this page from within Squidoo, it is already likely you know all about it. It has an active community or writers. Well written and SEO optimized articles with a few backlinks seem to rank very well on Google, giving more authority and PageRank to pass on.

If you participate in the Squidoo community you can get more traffic to that site and more internal links helping your site to rise. There are lots of good outside sites like SquidU and Squidom that you can use to get even more links to those sites. The fact is that there are a plethora of ways to promote on Squidoo and if you use a few of them you're the dofollow links can do quite well.

The number of links they give you is also notable. Most sites will allow 1-2 links. On Squidoo you can have a maximum of 9 per site off Squidoo and unlimited internal links.

Benefits: Money, Lots of links, good pagerank, Great community, numerous internal and external squidoo indexing opportunities.

Hubpages for dofollow

SEO dofollow resourcesHubpages can be dofollow too, if you work at them

You cannot mention Squidoo without mentioning Hubpages. It would be like bringing up Coke and not mentioning Pepsi. It has many things that Squidoo has. Money making opportunities, Great Pagerank and Authority. The links are Dofollow but only after you reach a certain "rank" within their system, so you have to work at it to make it worthwhile. The amount of links you are allowed is also lower. Like Coke and Pepsi most people are not active enough on both to make it worthwhile. Both are good but usually people will focus on one that they like more than the other.

Benefits: Money, Good Pagerank, Great community, numerous internal and external Hubpage indexing opportunities.

Best of the Rest for SEO and Dofollow

Show you the money- and the dofollow linksGather:

Gather is similar to Squidoo and Hubpages in many ways. It has a lot of linking out available. Page rank is not as good as the others but according to many it is an "up and comer" and some claim it is actually better than the other two. Certainly worth checking out.

Technorati:

Lots of traffic and it ranks well. The site indexes well and backlinks are credited quickly. There is an "approval" process so a certain quality is expected. But if you get linked it also comes with a very high exposure, great and valuable backlinks and solid Authority.

Benefits: Authority of backlinks and speed with which they are credited.

Redgage:

There is the ability to submit entire blog posts there, which is a very nice option. Or of course the normal short description and link that is usual. Profiles also have a large amount of links that can be added making another opportunity for dofollow backlinks. Oh%u2026and the content pays by impression.

I found some great information in your lens, I am also blogging on HubPages, and I seem to be getting decent traffic with that site. I have posted a few blogs on Blogger, Infobarrel, and Tumblr. I believe they all have dofollow linking. Thanks again for the great info. When my writing skills improve a little more, I will try Technorati. I've heard good things about them.
