Q: How do I activate my position in the EyeEarn advertising network?

Secondly, after you receive your kit, you are required to outfit at least one of your cars with an EyeEarn car banner and send us a photo of the car. The photo can be digital and downloaded instantly at the SFI Affiliate Center, or you can mail in a physical snapshot.

Q: When will I start receiving shares/signups?
The shares you receive are for the preceeding month. For example, if you purchase your kit and activate your EyeEarn participation in January, your shares for January will begin arriving in February. If you remain active in February, you'll get those shares in March...and so on.

Q: Why do you require a photo?
We feel it is necessary to ensure that affiliates "pull their weight." We cannot have affiliates simply buying a kit and then, due to procrastination or any other reason, fail to get their cars outfitted. Indeed, the reason that the EyeEarn co-op has no ongoing monthly fee requirement is because each affiliate is providing advertising to the network. If that advertising is not being provided, ALL the other affiliates in the EyeEarn network are being cheated. The photo requirement helps minimize this issue.

Q: What if I don't have a car on which to put an EyeEarn banner?
It is required that you outfit at least one car with an EyeEarn car banner to activate your position in the EyeEarn network. If you do not have a car, you are allowed to use a friend or family member's car in lieu of your own.

Q: Does the EyeEarn car banner go on the inside or the outside of the glass?
The inside.

Q: Is the EyeEarn car banner a permanent sticker?
No, it is a "cling" sticker that adheres via static cling. Hence, it can be moved as needed.

Q: What are the dimensions of the EyeEarn car banner?
The EyeEarn car banner is approximately 5.5" tall x 15" wide.

Q: Does the EyeEarn card banner have to go in the rear view window of my car?
No, you can also place it in a rear side window if you prefer. Better yet, put one on both your rear window AND side window.

Q: What if there is no one else's car I can use to fulfill the minimum one car requirement-or I simply don't want to put an EyeEarn car banner on my car?
Shares of EyeEarn can be purchased for $35 per share per month HERE. That is the only other option if you cannot or don't wish to fulfill the one-car minimum requirement.

Q: What about subsequent months? Are there any requirements to continue to receive EyeEarn shares?
Yes. After your initial activation month, to continue to receive shares, you must log in at the SFI Affiliate Center monthly and complete an EyeEarn Reactivation Form. Available for you to complete during the last five days of the month, this form consists of a short questionnaire, 1-3 brief marketing surveys, a confirmation of your active participation in EyeEarn, and your commitment to doing your online shopping through MaxMalls(see the MaxMalls FAQ). One or more miscellaneous additional activities may also appear on the Reactivation Form each month. You should be able to easily complete everything on the Reactivation Form each month in less than 15 minutes. If you fail to complete the Reactivation Form, you will not receive any EyeEarn shares for that month.

Q: What if I forget to complete the Reactivation Form during the end-of-month, five-day window? How do I get back in?
Unfortunately, if you miss the five-day window, you will lose your EyeEarn shares for that month. However, you can immediately requalify-at no cost-by completing the Reactivation Form when it again becomes active the last five days of the following month.

Q: What's with the marketing surveys on the Reactivation Form?
Many companies pay big money to gather quality survey data that can help them grow. This is another component of EyeEarn that allows us to operate the program without ongoing, additional fees. In time we hope to be able to offer additional paid surveys (earn even more by completing one or more surveys beyond the 1-3 on the Reactivation Form).

Q: So I just buy the Starter Kit? That's it? There's seriously no other cost to participate?

Q: How many affiliate signups can I expect per share?
Although it's impossible to predict how many people will eventually be participating in EyeEarn, we expect to generate several signups per share for our EyeEarners.

Q: What options are available for someone landing on the EyeEarn site?

There are two small differences. The Welcome Page at the SFI Affiliate Center (that they see upon submitting their registration at EyeEarn) references EyeEarn. Also, EyeEarn is pre-chosen for them as their SFI Focus (step #4 of Getting Started).

Q: What if a person doesn't want to buy the EyeEarn Starter Kit right away?
There's no obligation to buy the kit to participate in SFI. We welcome anyone to join as a free SFI Affiliate and check us out as much as he or she would like. Affiliates can order their EyeEarn Starter Kits whenever they wish...or never.

Q: From what countries will EyeEarn Co-op signups come?
Because we have active EyeEarn participants all over the world, the signups you receive can come from any country. However, we use special algorithms to match signups to sponsors in the same country as much as we possibly can.

Q: How do I know which signups are coming from EyeEarn? And what about those coming from EyeEarn Co-op vs. EyeEarn Direct?
All EyeEarn-generated signups are designated as such on your e-mail notifications, on your Genealogy report, and in the Affiliate Manager. EyeEarn Direct signups are designated as such so you know exactly who's coming from where.

Q: I don't want to participate in the EyeEarn Co-op because I think the results of MY advertising should go 100% to ME. Am I wrong?
Everyone has to decide for themselves if the EyeEarn Co-op makes sense for them, but here are some things to consider:

1. Unless you have your own short, easy-to-remember URL; a very short, highly compelling message to get people to act; a back-end Website to receive and manage inquiries; and are willing to spend substantial money to create shirts, car banners, etc., you're probably not going to advertise on your car, on garments, etc., anyway. So why not participate in the EyeEarn co-op? You'll receive a monthly flow of signups and MaxMalls revenues, and it's only a ONE-time $20 investment.

2. If you DID set up your own short URL, back-end Website, etc., you would indeed receive 100% of the results of your advertising. But you would NOT be receiving a share of the fruits of the entire global EyeEarn advertising network. When you participate in the EyeEarn Co-op, you benefit from your own advertising, PLUS the advertising of thousands of other EyeEarners, PLUS extensive other advertising done by SFI corporate.

3. Just because the EyeEarn car banners, T-shirts, etc. don't have your ID on them doesn't mean you can't directly sponsor people who see them. Just carry a supply of EyeEarn X-Cards with you. When someone asks about your car or shirt or whatever, just hand them an X-Card. You've now captured them for YOU.
