This guy is HUGE and, by far, the largest of the planets in our solar system! It is bigger than all the other planets COMBINED.

Along with Saturn, Uranus and Neptune he has no solid surface and is composed mainly of gasses. This puts him in the Jovian or "Gas Giant" Planet category.
Like Saturn, he does have a ring system, but it is very faint and was only discovered in 1979 during the Voyager mission.

To date Jupiter has a total of 63 bodies in orbit around it: 39 named moons, plus 24 unnamed objects. That's a lot!
