The very best saltwater taffy I had was in Galveston, Texas. Soft and sweet. They make it at LaKing's Confectionery, an old-fashioned shop with a soda fountain from the 1920s. You can even watch them make the taffy if you go there at the right time. Posted April 20, 2008 |
