Review #1
I've never owned a Samsung product, and have normally purchased Sony products. However, due to price increases by Sony, I decided to consider options. My satellite installer stated that Samsung & Sony were considered to be two of the highest rated HD t.v.'s.
I have nothing but highest praise for my Samsung! Extremely sharp color, focus, and excellent surround sound!
The only problem I had was the shipping company was two days late on the delivery date. JTB in NC

I have been a loyal SONY fan for decades, I bought this Samsung for the bedroom thinking I was downgrading and I would save a little money. To my surprise it is my Best TV of the 6 in my house! Picture quality and features blow me away. Time will tell if it is as durable. I am glad I ventured out.

Review #4
I have traditionally been a fan of the Sharp, or Sony TV's, however, I was looking for a TV to fit in a cabinet in my bedroom. I wanted to get the largest one that would fit my space restrictions. The Samsungs, in general, seem to sit lower on their stands than most other brands and really provided the only 32 inch option that would fit my height restrictions. I sure am glad this was the case.

This TV is wonderful. The best part is the picture. It just looks great. The swivel stand is a very nice touch too. I hadn't been looking for it, but it is quite useful as the TV is not directly in front of the bed. The settings and adjustments available are plentiful and adequate. The menus to access them are clean and intuitive.

Another wonderful feature is the energy saving modes. One can set varying levels of energy saving which controls the intensity / brightness of the light for lower power consumption. There is even an auto mode that will adjust the intensity based on what is currently on the screen. This is perfect for the bedroom. When it is late and I am starting to fall asleep I don't like the TV as bright. Energy saving mode is perfect for this and it saves power.

Another feature that I have been wanting in a TV and didn't have until now is a volume moderator. The TV will increase or lower volume automatically to make up for varying source volumes.

The TV seems perfect. I haven't had a chance to plug my gaming laptop into one of the 4 HDMI inputs, but with heavy action scenes on TV I haven't seen any ghosting of images. Blacks look black and colors are sharp. No noticeable artifacts of any kind.

All in all I am very happy with the purchase.

Make Sure You Have the Right Cables!

If you are using a Blu-ray player, a receiver, or anything else that is capable of sending a high-definition signal, don't forget to purchase the right cables. Here is an example of great cables for Blu Ray: Mediabridge - 6ft Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable - Version 1.3 Category 2 - 1080p - Blu-Ray - PS3
and you will need these as well:

HDMI (2 meter) 6 foot cable HQ 1080P 1.3b
.

Few folks realize what a significant difference a correct set of cables can make until they get new high-definition equipment home and it doesn't deliver the expected technology. But without accurate cable connections, even the latest in television technology will be blamed once a picture or sound system fails to deliver quality.

Let me try to explain. Most components (Blu-ray, receivers, etc.) don't come with cables, so consumers will either invest in inferior equipment, or grab existing material that's handy, assuming any cable will suffice. Safe to say, on the best of days, technology can be daunting.
