From the very first moment you mount Samsung LN46A650 on a wall or place upon a cabinet and turn it on, it is a joy to have and use. The first thing you see on the screen is a wizard to set a language and identify if you use the HDTV in a store or at home. Then it scans for available channels, finds them, and, here you are, you can watch it.

A big and easy-to-find Menu button stands out on a long remote control. Press it and you will see a well-structured menu list which will not interfere watching the picture on the screen. There is another, shorter menu for additional settings and you can activate it with a Tools button. To list all the TV's inputs (with active ones at the top and highlighted), use the Source button.
But nothing is perfect and Samsung LN46A650 is not an exception. For example, you cannot change the Sound mode until you turn off an Entertainment setting on the setup menu. Lacking a PIP button on the remote makes it difficult to watch two inputs simultaneously, though it is one of the features of this model. There are no other extreme flaws in the TV's remote. Closed captioning, setting aspect ratio and picture modes and other settings are easily adjusted right on the remote. Besides it has an iPod-like jog wheel makes it stand out.
Samsung LN46A650 has a lot of features. You can connect any USB storage device to the TV through the side-mounted USB port. At the rear there is an Ethernet port, so you can use Samsung's InfoLink RSS service to get news and other sports, finance and weather related information from USA Today on your screen.
Samsung LN46A650 is definitely worth its money. Its awesome design and outstanding usability make it the right thing for those customers who pay attention to both form and function.
