Samsung SMX-F34 Digital Camcorder Review

If you are looking to share your videos online you should considering purchasing the Samsung SMX-F34. In the past Samsung has made overbearing and large camcorders have not been friendly to record videos on the go. But now since they put out the SMX-F34 it has changed everything. Now that people are into putting their videos on Myspace, Facebook, and YouTube, cameras have been getting smaller and smaller. All of the camera manufacturers out there are putting out mini-camcorders so everyone can capture all of their moments on the go. The Samsung SMX-F34 has really nice storage size and even has optical zoom which the other mini-camcorders do not have.

Samsung SMX-F34 features are it has a 16 gigabyte internal flash memory and even has an SDHC slot for more memory capacity if you need it. The SMX-F34 has a 34x optical zoom lens and even digital image stabilization so your videos shake much much less than its comparable counterparts. The only problems with the SMX-F34 is that there is no optical image stabilization so the stabilization is not flawless like higher end camcorders and the auto-focus is on the slower side.

The design of the camera is nice and is about the size of soda pop can and comes in several different colors: black, red, blue, and silver. The video quality of the Samsung SMX-F34 is very good compare to its counterparts. If you are looking for top notch video quality, however this camcorder is definitely not for you. The video quality is considered to be slightly sift and contains some artifacts. If you are going to use this camcorder in low light situations, the camcorder is not going to perform well. As mentioned before, the auto focus does not perform fast by any means in low light or bright light situations. The exposure and colors of the videos and photographs on the other hand are very good. From other reviews on the internet and personal experience, I can say that this camera is only good if you want to share your videos and photos online. Nothing about this camera is professional quality and probably isn't the best choice for 99 percent of the population. It is almost at the status of being an expensive toy.
