The Save My Business lens was created to give several suggestions to try before you pull the plug.

7 Steps to Do "More than Fine" in 2009
A free white paper available now in the HereNextYear memebership site
For the past few years, most business owners have been hiring people or marketing companies (like mine) to do their Web work, thinking they'll learn how Internet marketing works along the way. Challenging times in 2009 will force more people to learn what to do, how to do it, and track that it's been done--and that's a good thing. Embrace the opportunity and the resources available to you through HereNextYear and you will be on your way to doing "more than fine in 2009.
Here are 3 of the 7 steps I have for you to get you going on this journey...
1) Visualize the possibilities that can BE
No matter how bleak the world outlook may seem, opportunities are all around you! But, you must know in your heart that there is possibility before you can recognize and embrace opportunity. The Internet, for example, is an amazing sea of opportunity where the possibilites are endless. If you are one to blindly barracade yourself from this potential vehicle due to tech-fear, money worries, and being content with being overwhelmed, this is your year to make a pivotal change. Can you see it?
2) Revitalize your interest to KNOW
If your leads, sales and visibility are not where you want them to be, it's time to learn new skills to try different things like the subjects that are covered in our worksheets in HereNextYear's Level 2 members area, for example. Remember how fun and rewarding it is to learn something new...and how financially rewarding it can be to implement something new that works!
3) Prioritize your time to DO
Clearly 2009 will be the year that more people evolve from simply discovering "what" to do to actually "doing" more Internet marketing themselves. Anyone can join a social network or build a Twitter following. You could be managing your own Google AdWords campaign or optimizing your own Web site for search engines (SEO). Adding posts to a blog is as easy as MS Word and even recording an audio file is as simple as picking up a phone and leaving a voicemail these days. Take action and make it happen.
