- My nephew has this disease, Type 1 juvenile diabetes but he is coping.
We all watch out for him.
Families are on a constant state of vigilance all day and all night long.
Hopefully, this dreaded disease can be eradicated forever someday soon.

- I really, really like sweet potatoes. Where I live, these tuberous roots are called kumara. I throw them on the BBQ at least 3 times a week in summer and, in winter, bake them in various ways. I like them mashed, grated into cakes and my children ate them boiled with butternuts when they were small
