Scouting - a Movement that Matters!

Scouting. It's part of who I am. I was a Girl Scout for years, and helped make a park area in my hometown with fellow Scouts as a Senior Scout to get my First Class (which is now called the Gold Award).

I also was a Girl Scout leader and trainer for many years. My grandmother and my mother were both in Scouting.

Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts have been in the forefront of the Green movement for a long time.

Nowadays, both Girl and Boy Scouts are learning about how to help our nation and our world, one service project at a time.

I am Lizziebeth - and it's great to meet you!

Here is a little about me.

I love Scouting!

I was a Scout all the way to Seniors, and then Mariner Scouts.

I earned the First Class award, the highest Girl Scout honor at the time. Now this award is called the Gold Award (and in Boy Scouts, the Eagle Scout classification.)

I have been a leader and a trainer. My favorite Scouting activities are stargazing, crafts, camping, journalling, nature studying, singing, and doing plays.
