Do you plan Scrapbook Retreats? or Do you think you may want to attend Scrapbook Retreats?

Are you planning to have Scrapbook Retreat in your area? or Do you know about an upcoming Scrapbook Retreats or Scrapbook Event in your area? The ScrapbookCrops.com website is for everyone from Scrapbooking Business owners to someone that has heard about an upcoming event to post the information they know about the event. The site is not only for people to post but to search for events in their area.

You may be wondering why I would put together a website that allows businesses to advertise for free. Well, When I started Scrapbooking, I was trying to locate Scrapbook Retreats in my area and had a very difficult time. That is why I decided to create this website and to encourage people to advertise their events. I thought offering this as a free service would be the best approach

Scrapbook Retreats

Scrapbook Retreats are getaways. They are a place where you can temporarily remove yourself from your usual life and become immersed in scrapbooking. This is usually a full weekend getaway or a full week. It is basically a vacation from life and the time away from the real world is spent focusing on your hobby. There will be many other people at a retreat that you will have things in common with. This is a great way to make friends and build long term relationships.

Scrapbook Weekends are not Scrapbook Retreats

These events are usually set up at a large conference room in a hotel. There are usually several vendors with scrapbook supplies ready for your purchase. Most vendors will provide equipment such as Cricut Machines and other tools for you to use free of charge all in hopes that you will purchase their scrapbook supplies. Some vendors will provide demonstrations of their products showing you new ways to achieve nicer looking scrapbooks in a shorter amount of time. These events usually start on Friday night and run through mid day on Sunday. The tables are usually available 24 hours a day through the entire weekend. Many scrappers will take short breaks for naps returning to the scrapbook tables to continue their scrapbook project.

Scrapbook Classes

These are normally in a store front setting in a training room set up for classes. There is an instructor that takes the class through planned scrapbook layouts. They are basically showing you how they create scrapbook pages and ways to use the products sold in the store that is hosting the Class.

Scrapbook Crops Are Nothing Like Scrapbook Retreats

Crops are also found in stores but have a little different setting. I prefer crops over classes but classes on the other hand are great for people that have not created many scrapbook layouts and would like further instruction. The people attending the Crop are usually already creating scrapbooks and have some knowledge or a great deal of knowledge of how to create scrapbooks. These are a one night a week or one night per month events hosted by either a scrapbook rep or a scrapbooking store. The great thing about a crop is the open conversation. The attendees will have their own scrappin area and they all work on different projects. You are able to sit and talk to others during a crop which is a little different from the class because in the classes the instructor can not be heard over talking. So as you can see Scrapbook Crops are very much different from Scrapbook Retreats.

Scrapbooking A Great Hobby?

Scrapbooking is a great hobby for anyone and everyone. It is creative, affordable and a fun activity to do when you are stuck inside on a rainy day! But you don't always want to sit at home working on your scrapbooks all by your lonesome. Scrapbook Retreats help you get away from life and get involved with others. If you are not able to get away, you may want to consider involving your family in your scrapbooking. You can get your children involved by having them help you create pages that include pictures of them or their friends. The main point is you don't always want to be alone when you are enjoying your hobby. So get away from the normal life and check out different Scrapbook Retreats.

Let's Keep The List Up To Date!

Not everyone has a successful scrapbooking business. Scrapbooking is just like anything else when it comes to building a business. So, I would like to ask you to let me know if you contact anyone on my list and find that they are no longer offering Scrapbook Services. I will first try to contact them myself and will remove them from my list if they are no longer serving the Scrapbook Industry. I want to make sure that people are getting the best information possible about Scrapbook Retreats and Scrapbooking Events in their area.
