I have some scrapping friends who (*gasp*) don't enjoy shopping in our local scrapbook stores.  Really.  They find the amount of products available overwhelming.  They will  give me a budget and a direction and then let me pick everything out for them.  Then I have friends who love a challenge.  They're forever instant messaging me and saying, "Okay, tonight, we have to each make a layout with NO patterned paper" and things like that.  And then there are my friends who live in rural areas with no good scrapbook stores to speak of.

Enter the scrapbook kit clubs. By signing up for a monthly subscription or buying each kit month by month, you can join these kit clubs and let someone else do the work of coordinating for you. There are probably hundreds of kit club to choose from and each one has it's own personality and style based on who owns the kit club and who works for them. The key is finding the kit with a personality that matches your scrapping aesthetic. Browse through the list of kits to find the best fit for you and, most importantly, add kit and descriptions to help broaden this list and make it a better resource for the kit enthusiast.

Once you've chosen a kit (or two), you'll look forward to getting your mail every month with the same enthusiasm I had waiting for a magnet set I ordered from a Bazooka gum wrapper when I was 7... but without the disappointment- YOUR package will be filled with wonderful scrapbook goodies rather than some really small, crumbly magnets.

Thinking about starting your own kit club?

Here are some books you might be interested in

Starting a kit club of your own can be a potential way to make your own money from home. You'll be able to buy your favorite supplies at wholesale prices and use your creativity to create scrapbook kits you think other scrappers would love. It IS work, though. Having a business plan and some guidance is just as important as having a passionate love of, for example, patterned paper in the kit club business. If you're thinking about diving in, you might consider some of these books for reference.
