Cut Your Own Soccer Themed Items with the Cricut

If you haven't seen the infomercial you are missing out. That alone is worth your time! It made me want to run out and buy one right then. It also gets your creative scrap booking juices flowing. The Cricut is a scrap booker's dream come true. You can create your own designs in seconds. It makes creating titles a breeze and allows you to create cool fonts as opposed to buying those generic alphabetic letters that all look the same as everyone else's.

The reviews for the Cricut are mostly positive. Actually, it rated 4 ½ stars out of 5. The main issues were the price ($199.00) and the "short" life of the cutting blade.

There are used Cricuts available online and looking at the discounted prices, it should be fairly easy to shave off close to $100 from the retail price. As far as the reported short life of the cutting blade, it could be an isolated incident or it could depend on what type of paper was being cut. There is a way to let the machine know what type/thickness of paper it will be cutting, so keep that in mind

I get a kick out of soccer.

A sport where players actually enjoy getting hit in the head with a ball.
