In an office setting you must get your gift into the area without being seen. Without this, you will be outed as to what gift came from whom. So think long and hard as to how to creep the gift into the gift area.
Suffice to say, day of is not the way to go. Everyone is going to be there and they will all be on watch. Don't get outed.

1. wrap your gift as usual.

2. get a box a bit larger than your gift and wrap it in a different wrapping paper.

3. cut a flap in the side, careful to tape up the wrapping paper edges as to not draw attention.

4. place your gift INSIDE the bigger box, and carry it in in plain sight.

5. with you back turned or at an opportunity with no one around/looking remove your gift from the larger box and place it inconspicuously in the pile.

6. take your empty box away claiming you grabbed the wrong gift from home or just toss in in the waste when no one is looking.

There you have it. Your gift can arrive in front of everyone and no one will know where it came from.

The Asset technique takes a higher skill level. You must have communication skills.

1. wrap your gift and leave it in your car.

2. time the UPS, FED EX, Postal or other delivery person that comes to your building daily.

3.catch them alone and let them know that you need a non- party carrier for the gift exchange.

4.arrange to place the gift somewhere out of site where no one would find the gift.

5.have the delivery person pick it up on the way in tomorrow and place the gift in the gift area. It doesn't matter who sees them. Pre arrange with the Asset to answer only "delivery from the North Pole"

With this technique you may have to improvise. Hand offs during breaks and at lunch will help.
A proven alternative in office situations is to leave the package with the reception of another company in your building or in the next building. Have the Asset pick up the gift from there on the way over.

Here is another Secret Santa idea on how to remain anonymous in the gift exchange:

1. Wrap your gift in a standard Christmas wrapping paper.

2. Find a bold, bright, stand out type wrapping paper.

3. place a can of soda on top of your wrapped gift.

4. lightly RE-WRAP your gift and the can in its crazy new shape. Make sure the second wrap is light with little tape

5. carry you cleverly disguised gift right through the front door.

6.place the gift in the gift area

7.quietly unwrap the re-wrap and place the wrapping in your pocket and open your soda and start drinking. No one will suspect a thing.

8.dispose of the soda can and the disguise wrap.
