two days ago bunch of seniors got to school early like at 2am and they tp-d all the trees and the outside of school, they they let the chickens loose, and they hung a golf cart from the roof. also, at my school they leave the keys in the school buses, and we have like 15-20 buses at our school..they drove them and parked some down the road, and parked them around campus and blocked the entrances to school..it was hilarious..and none of them got suspended, the only penalty they got was to pay money for damage...it was pretty funny..
  • Jake May 16, 2012 @ 9:03 pm | delete
Tis year they played roller hockey in the hallway!

I love to prank!! I remember one night, after a load of snow and even more cocktails... My friends and I were on the way home. We walked past a small car, so we decided to cover the WHOLE car in snow... wonder if the owners found it hehe Great Lens Amy x

Great lens! Love the principal's pick-up truck prank!
  • jimmyworldstar Jan 30, 2012 @ 2:16 pm | delete
The best senior pranks to me have been the ones where there's cups filled with water in the rooms and hallway or when live bugs like crickets are let loose.
  • TwoDogHouse Jan 24, 2012 @ 12:53 pm | delete
Back in the 60's we weren't so daring. But this looks like great fun.

    funny! thanks for sharing!
  • AvidArchie Sep 3, 2011 @ 1:02 pm | delete
I actually organized the swap for the diploma prank. The principal had a great sense of humor. When he finished handing out the diplomas he had a huge pile of quarters on the table, and a handful in his pocket. He walked to the microphone and declared, "I really do not appreciate...the person who only gave me a nickel. Don't think I don't know who you are." Haha great times. I made a lens about dorm pranks. Feel free to check it out:

With today's climate of gangs in schools, heightened security and terrorist threats, most senior pranks are very tame compared to what they used to be.
  • phoenix-arizona-friends May 22, 2011 @ 1:42 pm | delete
My daughters school was toilet papered last week. All of the trees near the school parking lot were hit. The school came on the speaker and threatened to have the person responsible arrested and expelled. Where is the humor these days?
  • Tolovaj May 22, 2011 @ 5:12 am | delete
Hi. Nice and informative lens:) A lot of fun and a lot of great memories too. Keep it up!
  • mrniceguy11 May 12, 2011 @ 12:08 pm | delete
A lot of great ideas here. I'm not in school any more but that does't mean i can't pull a prank at work!
  • flutestar123 May 11, 2011 @ 2:51 pm | delete
I love your non destructive prank ideas! my graduating class mentioned doing the take out idea because one person ordered pizza during flex (study hall), and they made an announcement over the speakers for the person who ordered the pizza to come to the office to have it be picked up.

clever idea for a lens!! nice job
  • Mohprice Apr 29, 2011 @ 4:27 pm | delete
These were hilarious! I'll be a senior soon and my friends and I were just talking about possible prank ideas.
  • momsfunny Apr 15, 2011 @ 1:25 pm | delete
I think pranks are great as long as no one gets hurt by them.
  • BodhidharmaCharma Apr 12, 2011 @ 10:08 am | delete
Our welding class pulled a prank on our teacher by fusing the door to it's frame. He didn't think it was very funny, a few kids got suspended. Just be careful on what prank you pull, being a jerk isn't funny.
  • dogbook Apr 8, 2011 @ 1:24 pm | delete
this was so stupid, waste of time

if this is what you call pranks, you are an idiot
  • kab Apr 8, 2011 @ 1:54 pm | delete
If spray paint and toilet paper is what you call a prank, then YOU are an idiot.
  • D2Tees Feb 19, 2011 @ 11:48 am | delete
This lens brought back memories!! The 2 pranks that stand out from my high school years were one class painted "Class of 95" on the one building. They were idiots for vandalizing the building but what made it classic was that they spelled "Class" without the "L"!! It was "Cass of 95"!
The other prank was the seniors took all the balls out of the computer mice in the computer labs. (This was back when mice actually had the tracking balls on the bottom.)
  • Pukeko Feb 5, 2011 @ 4:25 pm | delete
I love pranks. Some great laughs here. I really like that you also added the list of what not to do in a senior prank. Blessed by an angel. Please add a link to my "Humor Angel" Lens.

  • kab Nov 29, 2010 @ 1:11 pm | delete

Interesting ideas. Some senior pranks that went on in the past at my high school included redirecting traffic on a busy street and stacking tires on a very tall flag pole.

I think the Lettermen Prank sounds like a great Senior Prank. When I first say the title of this lens, I thought you meant Senior Citizens. lol That may be a good idea for another lens. Some of these are very creative. I don't remember having a Senior Prank so will be pondering that all day.

Teens can be terribly creative. At my school one of the teacher's cars ended up on the roof. Still not sure how. Love your lens.
  • janelle Oct 27, 2009 @ 9:39 pm | delete
best senior prank of the school still if you ask any of the teachers would be my year. we took an old car spray painted class of 02 all over, welded a hole through the center and put it in the middle of the court yard with the flag pole through it and took the tires off. they had to get the car towed away and it took them forever to figure out we did it. it is still talked about to this day.

at my school a few years ago, the seniors let three chickens loose in the school with the numbers 1, 2, and 4 on their backs, and the custodians spent the whole day searching for the one labeled 3

Funny, funny lens! Great ideas. Do be safe, though--and don't screw up your whole high school career just to leave a statement. The idea is to be famous, not infamous. Loved the lens.

At my son's recent HS Graduation as the seniors shook hands with the principle (he was not presenting the diplomas) they patted his back or arm and left a glowing fluorescent sticky dot on his suit coat. The dots were the type used to price items at a yard sale. No harm done, but the principle was certainly making a fashion statement by the end of the ceremony. 5*.

Good point - people should put up signs that say Alarm Clock Day all over so people know what the sound is.
  • maria May 29, 2009 @ 7:22 am | delete
that alarm clocks thing got a good majority of the seniors 2 years ago months in court and plenty of community service for bomb threats because they taped the batteries in so they wouldnt fall out
be real careful with that one its not as foolproof as it sounds...
  • Steph May 20, 2009 @ 2:04 pm | delete
Hahaha i'm a really big fan of the bouncy balls in the hallway during a pasing time! that sounds awesome :D

but for those of you who want a really good prank, without getting in trouble that is, get administration on board. my class is the first class thats been there for our vice principals first four years so he lets us get away with a lot, we got him on board with a few pranks so we don't get screwed and we can really go the nine yards becuase we have access to the school, his keys, and tons of other stuff most kids can't do = millions of posibilities :)

if you can't get anyone of authority on board, then please be safe with your pranks. don't so something stupid where you could get expelled or you lose graduation privilages, thats just dumb. have fun, go out in style, but don't do something where you screw it up for your whole class, or ruin your chance at graduating.

    :) happy pranking!!

Okay so in our HS we have ramps going down the halls into the middle school, so me, being the class clown and a huge prankster&smartass... we put a GIANT Slip n Slide down it and everyone came to school with flaotees and their swim suit on [nothing else!] and ran down the hall right into it!! ive been waiting to do it forever and we finally did, ahh.. i love it.
Make sure you befriend the janitors from day one.
    ANOTHER PRANK;
So its a tradition to trash can freshies at our school.. well when i was a fresh man we took the trash out everyhour and put cans of silly string on the bottom so you just grab it when your down there and get em good. we used water guns too :]
    Need anymore? lilezzy95@yahoo.com.

Like any normal school we have pep rallies, we all know how boring they can be. we had a couple people in the bleachers on both sides of the gym secretly passing around a bag of condoms and they began blowing them up like balloons and tossing them around the gym. Needless to say the administrators got mad and confiscated the "balloons" and posted sentries in the bleachers to prevent it happening for the rest of the rally. Lets just say i think that was actually the most entertaining part of the hour ;)

We are in middle school and want to pull a prank!!!!!!!! We are doing the bookmark thing and we are going to put them in almost all of the books!

The most memorable prank from my high school:

During the Senior Ceremonies in the auditorium, a few seniors released thousands of crickets. People will still be talking about that sound and panic for years, but the culprits were expelled.

You know it's a good prank when they have to kick you out of school. That's why I left the pranks to the experts.

The best prank ever is to go to a teacher and distract them from the rest of the class (most likely out of the classroom) and have a podium or desk "fall on" a student like the teachers pet - so the teacher actually cares - and have the teacher be scared out of their mind because the student is "hurt." PS. dont actually hurt the student!

Get Round-up plant killer in those spray hose sizes. have someone go out to the football field or the school lawn (preferably the football field so its during track season) and they write something funny in the grass or Class of '0?. that grass wont grow back for a long time!

our school's mascot is the warriors. so this year some frineds and i are plannig on having the senior class dress up like cowboys and indians one day and stage fights in the hallways and parking lot after school...it should be great. we were also planning on flocking the football feild during football season...but pink flemingos in bulk are too expensive...i think we'll resort to plastic forks though. :]
  • marley_09 Jul 28, 2008 @ 8:02 pm | delete
Now, don't do this. You can get in looots of trouble. We had one guy last year crap on the roof of the school. (: It was funny, but bad...

My school got the keys to the school, and a janitor to disable the alarms, we had the guys go in every classroom and take every desk and chair and placed the desks in a gigantic pyramid in the courtyard, and lined the halls with two rows of chairs on each side.We took the lunch tables and placed them upside down in the halls, our school is one floor so it was easy but. We then had all the girls fill 8,000 cups of water and place them in between the chairs in the halls. We put a banner "SENIORS 08" in front of the school also, and took some cups of water and arranged them to write seniors 08. we put 08 on every chalkboard. The best part was it included 50 seniors, and the ones that came to school the next day were the ones who had to cleanup, this was by far the best prank my school has seen, it took 4 hours to accomplish, and the juniors think they can match it.

Now listen cause this is good first find out your principle's address. Then make flyer's saying Party at so and so address not saying any name. Then hand them out on a Thursday for a Friday party. Everyone will go to your principle's house.

The high school i go to has always told the upcoming freshman to take the elevator to the 3rd floor pool(which doesn't exist) so a bumch of guys from the swim team decided to throw a pool party on the roof...they got on top of the building with a bunch of plastic kiddie pools and when the faculty got there the next morning majority of the seniors were having a pool party on top of the school

this one is fantastic: buy hundreds of plastic cups. get to school as early as possible. fill each cup half way with water. set them on a main flight of stairs in your hall close to eachother so its impossible to get through. or if you are amazing, fill a hole hall way. therefore, people wont be able to get through, it will be a pain for others to clean up because you have to dump the water, and there are idiots who walk through and spill water all over, which is just funny to watch.

Save The Ducks - Tantasqua Regional High School Seniors 3 day suspension stands - We will appeal - so how can one be suspended for disorderly conduct when one never pulled the prank off? Quote: "If you are going to pull a senior prank there will be no vandalism tolerated!" Rubber Duckies in a pond does not constitute vandalsim1
    SAVE THE DUCKS!

These are awesome, can't wait till i'm a senior!! Two seniors from my school this year put super glue on all the keyholes to all the buildings, it was during relay for life.lol.super funny, but they got expelled. Last year, the seniors put a whole bunch of yard sale signs in front of the school, we had a bunch of old people walking around looking for the garage sale.

Bob- I agree. Vandalism is stupid. That's why this page is offering non-violent, non-destructive pranks.

Don't forget a public school is Federal property :-). So if you go all out and damage Federal property this is what you have to look forward to.

Great lens you have here. It's just strange to see that we have far too more people involved in the bad, rather than good pranks.

This year was the beast year as a junior until last night.... I went to walmart and came back home friday night and i had 2 messages on the answering machine... It said i had saturday school and if i dont go i'll be suspended for one day.. my mom grounded me and i was trying to figure out wat i did to get it... So i called some friends and they told me they got a call too... They said the seniors hacked into the school system and got everybody freshmen, sophomores and juniors really good.... Mann.... i think that topped the prank list....
