I'm a coffee lover and a geek... with a slight lazy streak. Which means I have a Senseo. But I'm not satisfied with the coffee pods available at my local store. It's time to start hacking the Senseo.

Tips

Senseo Tips

*Pre-heat the Senseo by running one cup of water through it before making your first cup of the day.

*If you like milk in your coffee. Pre-heat that too. Just put it in the microwave for a few seconds.

*Get your pod a little wet before brewing. It'll make a better cup.

MyPod Tips

*Get MyPod wet before inserting the small round filter. The filter will stay in place better when you're putting in the coffee.

*Forget the silly scoop that comes with the MyPod. Just fill it to the top with coffee. Unless you *like* weak coffee.

*Watch carefully the first time you push the two cup button using the MyPod. It puts out more coffee than the pods do... your cup could overflow.

*There are two types of Mypods. One for the Senseo, one for the Home Cafe. They do not work in other machines.

Senseo Cappuccino pods...imagine a cup of senseo coffee with powdered non-dairy creamer added. Not bad at all, just not worth the exrta $$$.

The Senseo Cappuccino pods are gross. And they have typical non-dairy creamer hydrogenated oils in them. Yuck!
