Sexy Clothes For Married Women

I suppose this may sound like a bit of an old fashioned answer, but I think the best way to have a happy sex life (and a happy marriage) is for the wife to wear whatever it is that her husband finds sexy. Keeping your husband happy, in my opinion, is going to keep you both happy in the long run. What you have to do, is find out what it is that your husband thinks is "sexy". If you don't know what he likes, or think you might know but are not sure, than, just come right out and ask him. You might be surprised by his answer too!

I've heard men say they thought lots of black leather was sexy, and others be completely turned off by black leather. Some like skimpy "trashy" looks while others like more old fashion "Victorian school marm" looks. Some are going to want you wearing their favorite sports' team's cheerleading suit, and others are going to go wild for army camos. And there are a million and one other styles to llike or dislike. - For mine it's anything purple, anything super feminine with lots of pale pink frilly ruffles, or micro mini pleated "high-school girl" skirts - and I won't tell you how old I am, but he's nearing 70, so, that ought to give you a clue. =P All men are different and what one guy finds sexy, may be a complete turn off for your husband, so just ask him what he thinks looks sexy on you, and just start wearing it.

Also, think about what your own ideas of sexy are, and just go out and buy a few of those things, and wear them to "surprise" your husband. Why? Well, because most men, when you ask them what they think looks sexy on you, they are going to say "Honey, I don't care what you wear, everything is sexy on you." Now, while some men really mean that, it's a cop out answer in most cases, because your question catches them off guard and they are afraid if they say the wrong answer you'll get mad at them. Some times they really want you to wear one thing, but are afraid you'll be offended by the suggestion, so avoid telling you they want you to wear it. It's just the way men are some times. So, if you start wearing a few random sexy things, first, than ask what he likes, he may be more open to giving you a better answer.

Another thing - make sure your cloths fit well. Ill-fitted cloths never look sexy. I have an advantage in that area, seeing how I studied/trained in fashion design, and thus make all of my cloths. But even if you are getting store bought, try them on first, look in the mirror. And remember, a size too tight/small is NOT going to make you look sexy! I see so many women who think that getting a dress size smaller is going to enhance their curves. WRONG! It's going to make you look bulgy and rumpled. When it comes to cloths looking sexy on you - size matters!

And speaking of size - remember, not every man wants a skinny wife either. Some woman, thinking it's going to make them look sexy, will start dieting like crazy, even if they don't need to. But, most men, when asked, respond to say that they prefer soft round squishy curves rather than scrawny skeletal bones. A lot of men, actual PREFER plump plus sized woman to small thin woman. (But don't go putting on extra weight! Eating too much is just as unhealthy as not eating enough!) Anyways my point is - don't go looking at the pencil thin fashion models and think they are sexier than you, and than go out and try to diet down to nothing. I hear about a lot of women doing that, and it's not only unhealthy, but, it's going to decrease your sexiness as well, rather than increasing it. Know what you optimal body weight is, for your bone structure, and stick with that and you'll end up naturally sexy in your own way. Know too, that there is no such thing as being too thin to be sexy or being too fat to be sexy. EVERY woman is sexy no matter what her body type is and it's important that she know that. Remember, loving your body just the way it is, is the first step to feeling sexy. Think of it this way: wearing sexy cloths, is just a decoration on top of the sexiness you already have, so you can be sexy no matter what you wear!

In any case, if you feel sexy, you'll look sexy, so wear what makes you feel sexy, and it won't take long for him to notice and start thinking it looks sexy on you.

Of course all that is just thinking in terms of cloths you wear. But lets not forget other things too. Make-up for example - mine hates it, says it looks unnatural and is a big turn off. Freshly shampooed hair with strawberry scented shampoo, however, it a huge turn on, regardless of what I'm wearing. He thinks strawberry scented body lotions are waaaaaay better than perfumes, because their light scent is not over powering and does not cancel out my own natural scent, but rather complements it. I haven't worn perfume in years and I started selling Avon (been an Avon Rep 16 years now) just so I could keep my shelves well stocked with their Strawberry scented body creams! LOL!

So, you see, sexy is a state of mind, more than a state of how you look. For my guy, how I smell is far more important and sexier than how I'm dressed. So that's a point you might want to consider too.

Another thing to think about is your over all mood. When I was younger I had PMDD (a crippling form of PMS). My mood swings went on the rocks once a month. Than menopuse starting in and my mood swings went 24/7. It was really stressful on our relationship. Let's face it, no man is going to think you sexy if you are crying uncontrollably one minute and screaming and yelling the next! Turns out I had a hormone imbalance. Getting my hormones/health back in check, made me "sexy" in his eyes once again. So, being healthy = being sexy too.

All in all, there's a lot more to being sexy, than just wearing certain types of cloths. Think of being sexy as a way of life.
