End of the Shakespeare's Way

The original Globe Theatre was a theatre in London which was part-owned by William Shakespeare and was where his plays were performed. A modern reconstruction, called "Shakespeare's Globe", was opened in 1997, approximately 230 m or 750 ft, from the site of the original theatre, on the south bank of the River Thames.

"Shakespeare's Globe Theatre" forms part of a series of pages about the Shakespeare's Way, which is a a route that it is thought Shakespeare could have used on his journeys between Shakespeare's Birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon and the Globe Theatre in London; it will continue to be updated with information for tourists.

Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment Lee. If you do manage to get to England, I have a lens on The Shakespeare's Way, which is a walking trail that Shakespeare used between Stratford-upon-Avon and London.
