Vince - The Shamwow Guy!
Where do I begin? I've had a mild obsession with Vince since that first mini-infomercial for the Shamwow. Vince Offer is his full name. His rat-a-tat-tat line delivery and easy going confidence are mesmerizing. He's both friendly and condescending at the same time. The guy seems like such a natural pitchman that you just can't look away.

A New Commercial

Vince recently appeared in a new ad. This time for a food chopping device known as the SlapChop. Check it out. You're gonna love his nuts.Vince only has two known TV advertisements thus far. However, I'd liken him to Billy Mays, perhaps the most successful TV pitchman in history. They may differ in the way they deliver their ads, but the comparisons are obvious. I believe Vince may be the next great pitchman.
The Early Years
"You'll say WOW every time!"
Interestingly, his career appears to have started in comedy. In the late nineties he made an independent film titled "Underground Comedy Movie". The movie was widely regarded as being absolutely horrendous. Despite the hideous reviews, Vince managed to sell approximately 100,000 copies via television infomercials a few years after it was made. The guy's a salesman extraordinaire.Evidently, Vince went broke in the early 2000's after a falling out with the Church of Scientology (no, I'm serious). He started pitching kitchen utensils at swap meets just to pay the bills. He managed to save enough money from the swap meets to launch an infomercial ad campaign for his "Underground Comedy Movie".
So, Vince's comedy career seems to have paved the way for a career in infomercials. Kind of ironic if you think about it.

As great as Vince is, I still think Billy's the best in the biz. Give Vince some time, though. I think he may eventually take the top spot.
