Who Is Shannon Miller?
She has earned 7 Olympic Medals and 9 World Championship Medals since her Elite International debut in 1990. Her tally of five medals (2 Silver, 3 Bronze) at the 1992 Olympics was the most medals won by a US athlete.
During her career, Shannon has won an astounding 59 International and 49 National medals and over half have been Gold, culminating with two Gold Medals at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
Shannon led the "Magnificent 7" to Team Gold and, for the first time for any American gymnast, Gold on the balance beam. She is now a member of 6 Halls of Fame including the United States Olympic Hall of Fame (as the only female to be inducted twice!) and the Women's International Sports Hall of Fame.

Following her role as an analyst for MSNBC's coverage of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games Shannon began to commentate both men's and women's artistic gymnastics for NCAA events as well as National and International Elite competitions. Shannon enjoyed the opportunity to commentate for NBC's HDTV coverage of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. She now hosts her own weekly show, Gymnastics 360° with Shannon Miller airing Sundays nights on CN8, the Comcast Network.In addition, Shannon is currently an athlete representative for the women's program at USA Gymnastics and continues to conduct balance beam clinics for young gymnasts across the country.
Shannon is a sought after speaker on the topics of healthy lifestyle, leadership, setting goals and overcoming obstacles to achieve success. She has helped people of all ages, in all walks of life, understand the secret to making their dreams come true.

Shannon Lee Miller (born March 10, 1977 in Rolla, Missouri, United States) is a former artistic gymnast from Edmond, Oklahoma. She is one of the most decorated gymnasts in U.S. History, and considered one of the greatest gymnasts the United States has ever produced. Miller was the 1993 and 1994 World All-Around Champion, the 1996 Olympics balance beam gold medalist, the 1995 Pan Am Games all-around champion, and a member of the gold medal-winning Magnificent 7 team at the Atlanta Olympics. The winner of a combined total of 16 World Championships and Olympic medals between 1991 and 1996, Miller ranks as the most decorated gymnast, male or female, in U.S. history. Miller was also the most successful American athlete, by medal count, at the 1992 Barcelona Games, winning 5 altogether.
