ShokFactor - Quality Magic for Learning Magicians

Magic tricks are simple "tricks" that you perform for people watching. They usually defy what normal people would think you can do with a deck of cards, for example:
A person takes a card, shows it to a spectator, and then places it in the middle of the deck. With a mere riffle of the cards, their card is back on top of the deck!

I made ShokFactor because, as I was starting out to become a magician, I couldn't find any good tutorials for the basic tricks. Although the big, powerful tricks were good, I also wanted to know small, down-to-earth tricks that could be performed anytime, anywhere, with almost anything. I spent hours of my time trying to find some decent videos of someone performing and explaining the trick.

Now that I have come through that, I don't want other magicians to have to experience the same things I did. I want them to have a place where they can go to learn the basic, yet still powerful, tricks without having to spend a fortune on an eye-popper or needing to spend tons of time looking for the right website.

ShokFactor doesn't only focus on the basics of magic, though. We also provide tutorials for flourishes to add spice to your magic tricks as well as some higher-level tricks for those magicians looking for something more to add to their routines.

The ShokFactor mission statement is this:

I feel that this is about as clear-cut as I can be when trying to express to you what ShokFactor is all about.
