The third and BEST method for getting your site to Show Up On Google is by having a site already on Google link to your site. Again, the more popular the site that links to you, the more often Google's spiders will re-visit the site and the sooner the spiders will follow the link to your site, which will then be added.

If money is not a huge issue, a sure fire way to Show Up On Google is to get listed in Yahoo's Directory. A link there takes up to 7 days and costs $299 per year, but it is 99.99% certain that your site will be added to the Google index quickly as Google's spiders visit the Yahoo Directory on a frequent and regular basis.
