The Side Effects of Noni Juice

Whilst there are many reported cases of Noni Juice aiding in the treatment of diabetics, it should be born in mind that Noni Juice contains a high level of glucose. It is, therefore, better to check the level of glucose within the individual product and to proceed with caution (ie. start with small amounts) to avoid any potential side effects.

An exception, perhaps, applies when a diabetic uses Noni Juice as a supplementary aide for the treatment of advanced cancer. As The Cancer Tutor puts it, "Cancer steals energy, nutrition and glucose from normal cells. At least 40% of all cancer patients die because of the malnutrition of the non-cancerous (ie. normal) cells." He, therefore, recommends that the patient takes in a high glucose substance such as Noni Juice in the first month of treatment but then switches to a low glucose substance thereafter.

It should, of course, be emphasised that Noni Juice should not be used as the sole aide to curing cancer. It is a natural supplement which should form part of the whole treatment regime under medical supervision. The cancer patient needs to be flooded with nutrients and this is where the benefits of Noni Juice far outweigh the potential side effects.

The one area where some people may notice a side effect is when first starting to use the Noni Juice. Because a benefit of Noni Juice is the releasing of toxins, it is not uncommon for some people to feel a bit tired during the first few days of use and, perhaps, even notice an increase in bowel movements. This is because the individual's immune system has not, as yet, acclimatised itself to dealing with the excess toxin release. If the experience is uncomfortable, the dose taken can be reduced initially and then slowly built up.

The side effect can be minimised by increasing the water intake so that the toxins are more readily flushed out.
