How To Top The Search Engines The Easy Way!
In this series of articles I am going to be talking to you about what is sometimes referred to as an "online science". Now don't panic, as always I aim to keep things as simple as possible. So spend the next few minutes with me and I assure you that you'll be blown away with what I am about to talk to you about.
Let me start at the beginning.
As we are all aware, people use the Internet to search for information. By providing people with this information we can make a killing. We simply find out what people are searching for, and then we provide them with it. Simple!
Now here's the thing. If you can "optimise" your web site to show up whenever people in your niche market search for information you can make a huge amount of money online. For example, if someone typed in "kidney stones cure" and you're the top web site in Google for that search term you can pick up tons of free visitors to your site and explode your online income.
So many think that topping the search engines can only be done by huge companies, or those with massive budgets. The truth of the matter is it's free when you know how. Over the course of a few articles I am going to show you step by step how to top the results for your keywords related to the service or products you sell. We're going to be able to do it quickly, relatively easily and most importantly without spending a single penny.
So what do you need to do first? Well the first thing you need to do is create a large list of keywords directly related to your niche or service. You can do this by using http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/.
So let's say you were selling a product on "how to grow the perfect rose garden". You'd go to the above link and type in "rose garden". Now make a huge list of all the keywords that show up that are directly related to rose gardening.
Once you've got a list of 50 or so keywords your ready to start optimising your site for the search engines. I'll be showing you how to do that in the next article.
Please don't let the name "search engine optimisation" put you off. It may sound technical and that you need to be some sort of online whizzkid to be able to do it, but the simple fact of the matter is do it correctly and it doesn't need to be technical at all.

Here's Why Sites Top The Search Engines
In my next two articles I want to explain to you why web sites rank in the search engines and how you can rank. By doing this you'll have a better grasp of what is needed to be done in order to rank first in Google, MSN, Yahoo and so on.
The main thing that gets you ranked in the search engines is keywords. In my article "How to Top the Search Engines The Easy Way!", I told you to do a bit of research and come up with fifty or so keywords from http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/.
Here's why.
By writing an article focusing around one of the keywords you found, and then adding it to your site you have an optimised web page. So let's say you wrote an article on "rose gardening design" that was optimised correctly and then added it to your site, you can rank well and get free traffic from one 500-750 word article. At the bottom of the article you can link to your sales page selling your ebook or service.
Keywords or phrases are tools used in Internet marketing to achieve better rankings in search engines. At a certain point in time, webmasters abused this system by saturating the content of their websites with keywords to be able to achieve a high
ranking. However, this resulted in search engine users getting results that had no relevance whatsoever to their query. To combat this abuse, search engine webmasters developed algorithms to decipher which websites have relevant content and which websites did not. Now, the whole focus for keyword utilization has shifted to content rich articles with a keyword ratio average of about 12% of the whole article.
By writing an article that is optimised for the search engines, and adding it on a web page on your site you immediately have a web page that can rank well. The key to writing good SEO articles is to be true to the subject at hand. Make sure that your SEO article contains relevant information and a substantial proportion of keywords scattered throughout the article. Include a keyword or phrase in the title of your article. Include a minimum of 2 keywords or phrases in the beginning and ending paragraphs of your article.
Finally, scatter keywords in the body of your article. If you have a 500-word article, a minimum of 1 keyword or phrase per paragraph in the text body is recommended.
Write your article for your product, not for the sake of keywords. As you go on with your article, you will be using your keywords when you describe your product and when you give out instructions on how to use the product.

writers who will do the job for you. Prices for an original SEO
article containing 500 to 750 words max range anywhere from $1 to 15$. Just be sure to communicate well with the writers so
that they fully understand what you require. Ask for previous
work samples so you can judge whether their skills are up to
your standards. If you come across a writer offering his service
rather cheaply, don't rush in and call yourself lucky. The best
way to be sure that you have found a cheap but quality conscious worker is to ask him to provide one article to you. In exchange you will pay him for that one article and use it as criteria for judging his qualifications.

So what is it? What other factor coupled with your keyword dense articles will enable you to top giants like Google, Yahoo and MSN. Well it's the online equivalent of getting "votes" for your web site. It is called getting links, and it is a hell of a lot easier than you think.
What are spiders and what purpose do they serve?
Spiders are essentially programs that "crawl" sites and report
back to their superior (Google or whatever search engine they
were created for) what their findings are. Their purpose is to
make it easy for sites to get listed in search engines.
You might be wondering, what does it mean to "crawl" a site?
Well it means to visit a site and copy the information.
How do spiders work?
Spiders work by finding links to web sites, visiting those web
sites, going through the content of a web site and then
reporting the content of the site back to the database of the
site which they are working for. Google spiders, thus, crawl
sites and report the information back to Google's database. From there, the information is added to Google's search engine, and the site then shows up in Google search results. Much the same process happens with any other search engine spider.
So what does this mean to you? Well essentially by having good quality and relevant content on your web site (your optimised articles) you'll be pleasing the spiders. If you have links from other sites related to your content too you're way, way ahead of the pack.
Now here's the clever part. All you need to do to get links back to your web site is submit articles to article directories or write a press release related to your niche market. Link back to your site from the bottom of that article or press release.
Other web site owners in your niche will be looking for content to add to their own site, and will visit article directories to do so. They'll pick up your article, add it to their site (they'll have to legally keep your link in the article) so now you have other sites linking to yours all over the place! This will impress the hell out of the spiders and you'll start to rank extremely well in the search engines.
To find article directories simply go to Google and type in "article directory" you will find absolutely tons!

Write a press release and submit it to prweb.com. It will cost you a little to have them blast it all over the internet but it will mean that you get dozens, hundreds or even thousands of one way links back to your site catapulting you up the search engines.

Today I am going to finish off my mini article series by showing you a specific back door route, if you like, to topping the search engines.
You may or may not have heard of blogs, which are sometimes called 'web blogs'. These are essentially online diaries and at this moment in time everyone from 10 to 100 years of age seems to be blogging. Why? Because it's simple, easy and fun.
We, however, will want to blog for another reason to make money! Let me explain.
Blogs, or online diaries, are set up in a way that the search engines just love. They have good and relevant content, and they can often get tons and tons of links back to them.
The great thing about a blog is you can set one up without any web site experience whatsoever. If you go to blogger.com you can set up your own blog within five minutes. From there, using what you have learnt in these articles, you can start promoting either your own products or other peoples products (in exchange for a commission).
Another difference between a blog and a web site is that with a web site, each time you add a new article you have to create a new web page. With blogs each new post is a new web page in the search engines eyes. Bearing in mind that you can add a new blog post in less than five seconds I'm sure you can see the power of blogging for the search engines!
So how do you go about blogging for profit? Well here's a simple five step approach you can use to go and start earning today:
1) Go to blogger.com and set up a blog. Use your main keyword as the title of your blog. If it's already taken call it "niche world" or "niche planet". For example "rose gardening world", "rose gardening planet"
2) Hire a writer or write your own optimised articles on your niche subject that specifically focus on one set of keywords. Create or have created at least ten articles.
3) Post an article a day to your blog.
4) Write a press releases about your blog and submit it to prweb.com
5) Use the blogger search function and find blogs related to yours. Make genuine comments on their blog and link back to yours.
